would love to use FrozenCPU.com   - good reliable company in New York for many years.  Do they have a complete c1 kit or sku?

Delete the quote please, you turn something which gets updated into something static with links which will die. In this case, the quick disconnect fittings are wrong (too small).

Yup... I got boned really hard by that  (not because of the repost, I ordered them previously so I could get up and going the day they got delivered) ...

I'm not sure if I was more upset about the $50 I'll never see again (figured it out after opening them) or the fact that I don't have any quick disconnects on my miner.

Shakes fist angrily at whomever made that post in the first place..   (jk dogie, shit happens life goes on. )

I cried myself to sleep, but then I remembered there isn't any crying allowed in bitcoin mining..  Grin  could you imagine?  Cheesy

As a point of reference, I have two C1s up and running for ~4.5 days. Both are stable at stock.  GUI on one is 1005GH/s the other 973GH/s (one bad chip on this one); Pool reports 1.03TH/s (Huh) and 949GH/s respectively.

I have two and winter air for cooling.   One is hitting 1050 and 1030.   Had problem with bad sd on one.  But once flashed with good it works great.

Used rm-1000 on both.  Working great.

polymer_city,

Try lowering the frequency using ssh or with GUI as soon as you power it up since t works for you for a little while.
The factory setting will run the miner at 250 and in my case it just didn't work.

In my case GUI wouldnt show up at all when miner was received so I had to do it using ssh.

Once frequency is lower, GUI may start responding.

I had to lower the frequency to 218.5 to make the GUI and miner work. Eventually I had to bring it down to 193.5 to keep it stable and consumes 660 watts for .7 Thashes . Temperature stays in 40s so cooling is not the issue.

I am not sure why bitmain is not accepting the reality of situation and offering a solution to this problem.

I thought something odd was up.

I think it was power supply, I resoldered switch line, checked for shorts across pos and neg (hp server PSU) and seemed to have a short. Nothing visual.

I've done this 3 times now and last time seems to have done it.

I think PSU was flicking on and off randomly.

One thing couldn't reset to factory using button, tried all the combos??

Hash rate showing pool side, still can't see GUI though, could be a DNS cache issue now my end.

Thanks for the help any ways.

What would be the recommended min diff for the pool for these?

Any one tried overclocking yet?

I think its hard to say what is wrong without narrowing it down.  If you have a different PSU I would try it and see what happens.

If you can eliminate PSU problems I would try flashing micro sd card.  It seems that a few had had problems with corrupt SD's.  I uploaded a good copy that Dogie has in second post.

GUI is unresponsive after 15 mins or so..

Just going to check pumps etc now, its all still powered but just literally stops.

A couple of other ideas-

When it becomes unresponsive, try a different network cable and/or port on your switch or router.

You can also SSH into it with putty.exe or whatever

Good luck, let us know what you find

I think I'm going to reflash SD card first and then go from there.

Today it hashed a little throughout the day radomly.

Not seen this with any other miner yet.

Definitely a new problem to me.

Actually going to factory reset first i think.

Try leaving the GUI up for 15 minutes - possibly it will give you more information
when the issue actually happens..

Your temps should be in the mid to low 40s

All of your fans are spinning, right?

Pump is still pumping?

Got a problem with 1 of my 2 C1's.

After about an hour it just stops hashing, power still on etc.

Tried rebooting same thing.

It did initially hit 1th/s, but just pretty much stops after about 15mins.

Ideas? Corrupt SD card or something more serious?

Also can't access GUI unless it's just rebooted? Strange...

I've just set min diff to 1024, but the other one didn't need to be changed.

Wow, this time, Bitmain really screwed me.

On their homepage, they write that the value of one C1 is 324.89 US$. I ordered two, so the value would be about 650 US$ In Swissfrancs:  595 Swiss Francs.

According to the declaration they gave to the Swiss customs, the value is 991 Swiss Francs. So I have to pay almost double of the import taxes.

Thank you, Bitmain!

Are you sure they didn't write $991? I don't see why it would be declared in any other currency than USD.

Well, the value declared was more than 1000 US$, but they converted it at customs into Swiss Francs, of course. So I am waiting for documents from customs before accepting the delivery.

Let me know.
