I thought all was going well.  Went to miner it had coolant leaking out the power cord spot.  This picture is after a lot of cleaning up.  But I have a faulty pump.

I guess I need to figure out RMA process.

Anyone know what email they use for RMA? I sent to [email protected] hope that is right.
Yes we have received the email, either [email protected] or [email protected] is OK.We have settled the problem, and will let you know the latest information as long as we have.

[Assuming the pump still operates...] Its going to be quicker and cheaper for you to pick up some modelling putty / plumbing putty / silicon gel and patch the leak that way. I did this a lot with XSPC pumps.

Dogie can you please  get a "Uploaded by Notlist3d" beside the SD image I uploaded?

I would appreciate it! And thank you if you do.

I'm not sure I understand why. I'll make a fresh image if its bothering you?

I really don't know why BitMain moved away from the the controller board they used in the S1 and S3 (well I guess I do...the answer is cost).

Old board was less powerful than new one, and this architecture is quicker to program.

Less powerful in what way?  I still say it would be nice if bitmain offered a wifi option, even if they charged a few bucks more.  Maybe others could weigh in to let bitmain know whether or not they would be interested as well?

In my case the "bridge" option described by bitmain, is more trouble than it is worth.  Maybe when I decide to upgrade my whole wireless network I will give the bridge idea another shot.

Incase this helps anyone..

I had a problem with 1 machine, no GUI, stops hashing etc, thought it was power supply, then today it wouldn't even hash after rebooting.

So re-flashed with the image Mr. notlist3d uploaded (CHEERS Smiley )

Fingers crossed its working as it should now.

It can help to change the network and pool setting directly from the image before you put the card back in the machine.

Seems like SD cards are getting corrupted after writing either network or pool settings.

Glad it sounds off to a good start!  That was goal of uploading Smiley

Hopefully it is like mine.  After I flashed it was night and day.  All the random problems went out after reflashing the SD.

This is part of the reason I suggest trying it before putting screwing top back on.  It just becomes a pain those 10 screws over and over.  You can set the top of case on without screwing it when testing to make sure it works.

Why there is no firmware for C1 at Bitmain's website?..

They don't usually publish the stock firmware, but there as an SD image of it in my 2nd post.

One guy found that in user's manual FW looks more fresh (upper image) than in his C1 (lower image):

Does C1 has an option for wifi (like S3 does).

Has anyone explored this yet?

The C1 uses a cost-reduced Beaglebone Black as the controller, there is no wireless radio.

From a previous thread via @BITMAIN:

C1 and S4 uses differnt control PCB and no wireless feature is supported.

You can use wifi bridge like below

AntMiner Alternate Wi-Fi Mining

Here is an easy solution for you and we tested it for over a week on S4 and so far it’s working.

You can use any similar items to make it work.  We picked readily available item at the US BestBuy Store.
Netgear Model#: WNCE2001-100NAS.  (Price was $49.99)

If you happens to be living in a dorm, apartment or wherever you can only access to the internet
via Wi-Fi, this will make the Bitmain Antminer believe it’s connected to the wired Ethernet and this will not stress the miner.

We purchased the above item to test it out with the AntMiner and it worked!

I opened  today the   last C1 package, and what a surprise. bitmain sent to me miner with the coolant and it had leaked out.

Are you saying coolant was inside the miner? Or they sent like a supply of coolant?

t was not much. 10-15ml. But, enough to wet all done.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-dogies-comprehensive-bitmain-antminer-c1-setup-hd-846095

leaked into the rubber tube  between two water block connections. Bitmaini pictures, it is plastic tube,  actually rubber tube.

However, it was leaked before packaging, because the screws and spring clamp were rusty.

Because they're leak tested and then drained there is a small amount of coolant already in the blocks. There are two end caps which seal it up, so if you have any information as to what went wrong that would be great.

And which (and where) the fitting which leaked.

As a point of reference, I have two C1s up and running for ~4.5 days. Both are stable at stock.  GUI on one is 1005GH/s the other 973GH/s (one bad chip on this one); Pool reports 1.03TH/s (Huh) and 949GH/s respectively.

Try setting your voltage to .735. should fix the "bad" chip

Thank you...worked like a charm.  At re-boot (first in 5+ days) the case fan is spinning slower/quieter, too....no idea why.  I will report on stability in a day or so. [NOTE: Actual voltage value in advanced tab is 0735]
