Is Corsair RM850 80+ Gold PSU enough for running one Antminer C1?

Yes, although I still prefer the 1000 as an investment if you're buying a new one.

I have two things to ask. How do you perform an SD card image flash? Or does it run off the SD card all the time?

You shouldn't need to touch the SD card.

Also, DOGIE, you indicated you need 1 litre of cooling liquid. That's ALOT of cooling liquid. Are you sure it is one litre and not 1 quart? And does the kit come with all the cooling liquid so you don't need to buy anymore? I may pick up an extra small quart, but wanted to know.

Uh..... 1 Litre = 1.0567qt   Cheesy

You need 750-850ml and that leaves no safety margin, especially if you want longer tubes. Thats 0.66 - 0.75 in freedom units.

I try to change voltage settings: 0725, 0720, 0730
But power consumption the same - 865-870 Watt

Also I try 100 Mhz/400GH with 0600 and 0725 volt - power consumption is the same: about 335 Watt or 0.84W/GH

But I think that undervolting to 0.6 volt should get me about 0.5-0.6 W/GH

Why volt changing is  not working?

These PCBs may not have variable voltage control.

Seems my order was paid for, it indicates that on my order history.

You will not need 1 liter with cutting cable using what they did.  I think I used around 600 ml, and Dogie was around 750 ml if i remember right.  The cutting of the cord directly reflects this.

The SD card image I uploaded you can use with Win32DiskImager to flash to micro sd.  You take the micro sd card out of the miner's beagle board controller and stick it in computer.  Most don't need to do this step.  It is just if your sd card is corrupt.

In stock for me. The $100 shipping kills it for me.

Not sure the ordering system is working. I paid in full for 4 of them and haven't received an email like it says on the order page. It has been about 40 minutes with no confirmations at all and I did put in a little extra of course.

Thought I would report a successful custom water cooling setup for two c1's. I used some parts I had lying around from some of my old watercooled PC's.

1 D5 Pump with EK Pump Top
1 560mm Rad GTX560
8 140mm Fans in push-pull

Both C1's in series (refer photo and some screen grabs of the temps which are remarkably even across the two units)

Currently both are overclocked to 262.5 with the default voltage.

Is that black coolant or tubing? Or Ribena?

Its black tubing idiot, to prevent growth in coolant.

I just paid for 4 of them and there is 1 confirmation only and I haven't received an email or anything. The order page said I would receive an email when it is paid in full. Can you look into this? I really don't want $1600 worth of bitcoin in limbo here. Two orders. Each had 2 C1's. Both were paid in full 2 minutes after order site came up letting is know what the amount is.

Thanks.

sold out.

Why does it keep going in and out of stock? I've seen it turn green several times, then back to gray.

Bitcoin payment orders that don't get paid within ~ an hour get put back in stock.

Has anyone received a positive response for replacement pump from SysCooling.

My pump gave up too so C1 is sitting powered off.
I am at the moment afraid to buy another C1 even if it comes with cooling kit.

Here is my take on C1
1. More easily stackable  (+) (as seen in the pictures in this forum)
2. Energy Efficiency (+) but same as S3
3 Shipping cost (-) ( too high USD99)
4. Point of failures (-) ( pump, radiator clogging etc.) more than S3

I somehow still like it more than S3, don't know why.

How does everyone else feel about C1 (positive or negative).

I am going to wait for my first one to be operational again before I buy another one.
Or
I will go back and read Mr. Tupsu's comment and link for books for dummies and convince myself that C1 is not meant for novice like me.
For pump, you could email us water [email protected] ,[email protected] or [email protected] with pictures,we will help you solve the problem.
