They are in a closet so they might run slightly hotter than some others, but my hashrate hovers just under 460 (between 455-457) and 41 degrees

Looks like i'm not so lucky with mine (436 - 434) atm, 1 hours 20 mins in. For how long are you hasing ? Mines are at around 38-40 degrees.

As long as they pull less current trough the cables than the S1s overclocked then I highly doubt it, though I guess maybe the S3 defies the laws of physics!

edit: The simple explanation might just be that on the S1 that used a open design some of the airflow was hitting the cables and hence cooling them, now with the S3 there just is no airflow on the cables and they run warmer.

use the same guide as in S1 except the file name is "asic-freq" and not "asic-freq.config".

35 min in => 428 gh/s and- 432 gh/s, i guess i had a bad start ... closing to the specs

Guys please use extreme caution when you start OC'ing these babies. Bitmain all but said it cannot be done and I am three for three so far on the PCIE cables running pretty warm. The units themselves are all around 38-40 but the cables are definitely running hotter than the same setups did with S1's.
I will not be OC'ing these!

My PSU's are a mix of Corsair 750's & Thermaltake 850's. All cables are in good condition.

What is everyone else seeing?

Batch 1 still unshipped paid 2014-07-01 00:36:56 and others have allready received. I feel like I got the short end of the stick here and should have waited and payed less for batch 2 as it feels they will get the same time as me. Hope im wrong. Cant qq to much since I was a BFL customer during jalepano preorder.
