For the coupon offered, any one know whether it has a time limited. If not, I may opt that. All my bitocoin is used to buy their machines so far and hence it is better. However, if there is a time limit, not sure how long to get my 1.45 bitcoin to get the next batch, may get the refund instead.

Did some power measurements for those who might be curious. Kill-a-watt is showing power draw at the wall for two S3's as they come out of the box.

General questions about the S3 now that mine have been hashing for a few hours...
1) Why in the name of all that's holy does it randomly beep? Every now and then it just goes "BEEEEEP!" It's not like it's rebooting... it just decides to let everyone know, "Hey, I'm here! Pay attention to me!"
2) I know the "o" in the miner status means "OK" and that "x" means "error". What does "-" mean?
General comments:
1) At stock clocks it hashes almost exactly to spec on p2pool (my local node). Initially it was around 450GH/s, but after settling down and going for a few hours now, it's about 439GH/s.
2) Overclocking it has far less effect on p2pool than on another pool. For example, at 250, I get about 455GH/s on p2pool. I get 500GH/s elsewhere with the same settings.

While GHash, BTCGuld both get 500+.. Looks like they run to spec, but P2Pool is 14-15% less at the moment

These numbers are Great. I am not seeing ANY where near that with mine. I am giving it a few more minutes before passing judgement but so far very disappointed.
I am testing across a few pools so.. time will tell..
I have only been able to get upto 225 with 2 PCI-e cables without chips getting crazy, anything more needs 4 PCI-e connections.
Question about PSU:
Bought a cheaper 900w PSU by FSP Power with just 4 PCI-E connectors. (6+2 type connectors)
Do you guys think this type of PSU would be sufficient to run the 2 devices smoothly or is it more reasonable to throw it out the window and spend another $300 to get a Corsair AX1200i?

What is UPS doing! It went back 'out for delivery' at 8.30pm, 2am and no update.

It was before the 20th, but it may be a day or 2 late since some b1 are late. I think I got one of the last b2s. Hours after I ordered they went to b3 and the lower price
IMO anybody ordered late in late batch 1 or batch 2 are going to be shafted a bit here because if you had order early on the next batch, you would have paid less and received your unit on the same day or at the worst next day.
The least BITMAIN could have done is to at least come here and say that some of the late orders in batch 1 are a bit delayed since it's already 18th in china and they are supposed to be start shipping batch 2 today
. So going by the way they have been shipping batch 1, your late batch 2 order should be shipped the same day as Batch 3 early orders

Not sweating it. I figured I'd get them some time next week. My guess is these guys are all hands on deck boxing and shipping which is why they are passing on updating everyone. If they post here then it'll be 20-40 responses and more time spent replying with info. When I watched the orders coming in through the blockchain they were coming in at least every minute for batch 2 and 3. Most were for 2 units, though. I think it would have saved them time and money if they would ship 2 to a box since the minimum order is 2. why would you dig a hole for yourself unless your intention was to fill your order list first and then worry about shipping it. To me it seems they knew it is going to be like this but yet they slide it in as batch 1, where as in reality that batch 1 list should have been broken down into two. It seems they bite more than they can chew

I placed two orders on release. The first order was within the first seconds of going live and has already been delivered.
The second order was placed about 10-15 mins later and was shipped the next day. It will arrive tomorrow morning.
