I`m not aware that bitmain have an ebay account, and to be honest all the sales on their site are in BTC, so to sell on fleabay and give a chunk to paypal etc doesn`t make sense.  I would recommend buying from bitmain or an authorised reseller.

Hi Community

Bitmain usually adjusts their prices every day or two to reflect that the later you get the hardware the less it is worth. Afterall, if you're in batch 1 you could get as early as 7/10 batch 3 is likely after 7/20... so it makes sense that the folks in batch 3 aren't going to get the same ROI as batch 1 ... hence price difference.

Personally... kudo's to Bitmain for doing this, I wish more manufacturers would.

... that being said... just to keep this question raised....

@Bitmain, please, please, please let us know the details regarding the s2/s3 upgrade (pricing availability ...etc) the answer to that question changes whether I buy several s3's and sell my existing hardware on ebay or whether I upgrade.  (or some combination of the above)

Yeah you're right.  I saw six cables and didn't notice that two of them are doubles.  So 8 total.  Even so you're stretching the capacity of the psu running 2 s3s on it.  I'd go with the 1300, which also has the same cabling.

you are welcome .  they are very nice gear.  the fan is a tiny bit loud when pulling 1215 watts doing 3 s-1's at 200gh 393 freq.

My s-1's are now underclocked..  waiting for my s-3's to put my second 1300 evga back to use.

well I am pushing the 1300 not the 1000.


same number in 1300 as in 1000 (eight)


 yes the 1300 will allow for 3 with standard clocks  and  gives a little more head room.

 the one issue with this psu is the fan is a bit noisy  but so were the s-1's

also i was running 6 ants with 2 evga 1300's so it meant for less gear/wires

 the `1300 'nets to 153 with out the cc gift card trick
the '1000'  nets to 129 with out the cc gift card trick

I have 2 1300's  truly nice gear. 

 I push the 1300's since they will do 3 with no oc    =really sure about this


and they can do 4 with under clock/undervolt = hope to do this.

I did 4 s-1's with ease could have done 5  with the under volt-- down clock  .
