The more merit source, the more good poster will born here in our forum. I know that Filipino have creative minds and that will lead us to our success. We need a thing that might push us to do a certain things and that's a source.

Why not? I think a lot of people could benefit with more merit sources knowing that it would be distributed evenly and fairly with the people especially in our local board. I hope you go and try and have your own because there are a lot of posts that would be exposed and a lot of people would know that there are quality posters in the Philippines.

I totally agree with this specially now that I really feel I will never get any merit due to strict and needle hole passing process to be able to get even 1. I understand and I admit that most of the posts I made are not worthy to get merited but I really do not know what are the compliance to be able to achieve merit. I just hope a fellow Filipino merit source would really help low ranking files like me. We will work hard for it and I also hope every posts we give will be at least appreciated.

Thanks for that. We all know the truth, no matter how much you create quality posts about how to be efficient in this forum, knowledge, guides, etc, it's all about the person's ability to research and read on their own and stop asking over and over again asked questions. It's not wrong but you just have to help yourself (talking to all the newbies)

I see a lot of people who has the potential to be given merit but a few only has merit in our board. Having me accepted as a merit source could do so much to improve the current status of our board and give merits to those people who really deserve it. Actually I don't have any idea how it is done. But in my opinion I think it is done via PM or announced publicly. Either way, what's important is our applicant's get accepted in time.

Well by the way Philippine Local Board is transforming into a good section of our forum and it seems a large number of Filipino members are now opening their eyes about the current issues faced by the forum. They are now creating lots of quality post although few of em are just repeated topics but it's very minimal.

I want to know if the application of Mr. crwth is accepted since we really need a merit source on our local. My fellow members in local keep posting some good and informative contents that will really boost up some newbies to be an efficient member of the community. This is a serious problem, because of the lack of merits, they revising some contents from the past that is being locked.

Merits also symbolize as being the original or the most amazing content. The more the merits, the best content that is created for that kind of topic. This kind of symbolization avoids all the revising or creating version 2 of some existing topics.

So I'll help Mr. crwth to bump this application, I don't care to those reasons that crwth is not capable of what he's applying because of that issue about him. I know myself as a fellow member of the local that he is an effective merit source of our local. We, the people of local experienced the situation of being unable to move on that situation.
