Thank you for bringing this up. I'm fully aware of the requirements that theymos has included and all I did was merit those replies that are really good and made me feel more motivated. I don't regret to merit because for me it was an appreciation, that's why it was only one (1). There are a lot of posts that have received one merit and it just means it increased the value of the thread. I'm not going to merit every reply because some are just repeating what everyone said. I know the responsibility of becoming a merit source. It's a good practice to appreciate someone that has given a value more of the application. That is just my thoughts about it.

This proves that we Filipino are really active in this forum. If you guys (from different country) will only visit our local board you will be able to find out that there are lot of quality posts and active discussions out there that deserves a lot of merits as well, but lacking of sources. This Merit Source applicant from Philippines have good intentions that's why I hope Admin won't hesitate to accept our applicant's application.
We may have Dabs and rickbig41 as merits source but they're also pretty busy at moderating that's why we understand their infrequent presence of distributing Merits. I'm sure that even our moderator will support our applicant.

We will be waiting for update Admins.

I don't think it would be hard for Filipinos to learn the right grammar with writing as long as they practice. It's also helpful to use Grammarly if you are familiar with that. Part of the quality of the post is the right grammar and the right way to write. It's not just full of graphics and full of text. It should make sense and nonredundant. I think the Filipino people are capable of making quality posts. A lot of them are highlighted here in my ten posts.

But don't forget your responsibilty of a merit source if you'll get accepted, even though we Filipinos really needs the merits you should be fair, considerable and not be a biased it should be for everyone in every sections of the forum It should be given to those who deserves it.

You have a lot of dedication I'm not wondering if you'll become a merit source that came from the Philippines.

Honestly, I have been hoping that there would be more sMerit sources in the Philippine local board. I know that many Filipinos have a hard time speaking/posting in English and this deprives them of the chance of gaining merits. If you take a look at the merit distribution stats, there are many merits that come from the other local boards but I think the Philippines board is being left behind.

These infographics are definitely meritorious and I believe these would help our fellow Filipino citizens who have a hard time with english. This would help them understand more about the btctalk forum, know more about crypto and be knowledgeable of the red flags of a scam.

I also think that we do, especially in the local section. As long as quality posts are done and especially not the redundant ones because I noticed that some are always repeating.

! This is awfully nice post. But anyways, thank you for featuring my post "why merits are being dried up". I am also not aware that I am motivating someone else to become a merit source in our local. Well, Im glad that I am helping other people to make such decisions like applying as a merit source.

You deserve it, mate, I have read your quality posts and (IMO) considered an established member. I do agree with your 10-quality post on our local board, I have noticed that ever since young became active, there are changes happening on our local board, which is good. He/She is educating people there, even, I, felt the challenge to see how a newbie can post helpful threads if, he/she can do it, why won’t we?

It's true that we filipinos need a merit source since many people in my local makes amazing contents that is very informative but doesn't have any merits.
