ICOs these days perform really badly. September ICO analysis showed that the best performing ICO - Tolar lost 45% of the price after the ICO.

Financing through private sales is the way of the future, and it has already caught up with the popularity of such traditional types of financing like vc and pre-sale of the shares. Therefore, the ico projects will develop and evolve .

Nothing dies.
There are more projects that don’t collect the necessary funds, as investor confidence in cryptocurrency has weakened.
But this is temporary. Surely soon we will see more good and promising companies.
I really think we are seeing a change in the attitude of the community towards icos, in the past even if there were some scams people viewed icos with good eyes and as an opportunity to make a difference and to make some money as well, but now the view of those projects is very negative, even if the market of cryptocurrencies began recovering today I have my doubts we will see a massive recovery of icos.

Today, the ICO, as well as the cryptocurrency market, is experiencing a difficult time. Everything is very unstable. No confidence in the future. This affects the current state of affairs. As soon as the situation becomes stable, the ICO will immediately pick up the course.

there is no such rush about startups like last year, so it’s quite normal that they don’t collect as much money as before. Bulls will return to the market and we will be able to see how people are actively engaged in investing their funds in them

Yes, the main purpose of ICO is to raise funds so that the project can be developed and promoted, but the current ICO market is slowly losing investors because of fraudsters!

If you also introduce control and remove the clones, then it may seem at all that it is useless. Of course, they are not dying off, but are frozen for a while, but many investors so far, apart from trading and such investments, also do not trust.

ICO was in a bad phase in this period due to the influence of the crypto also continued to fall. because this must also reasonably affect investors also to enter into ICO being a little hesitant. need time for the ICO to be make believe investors again so that the ICO could be good returns. but among the ICO was still there continue to produce and it's not dying.

The ICO projects still have temporary difficulties due to the poor state of the cryptocurrency market, almost an annual period of stagnation. The market situation will change and the ICO projects will start to work and flourish again. Of course, there is concern about a very large percentage of frauds among ICO teams, and this problem must be urgently addressed. Apparently, it can be effectively resolved by government regulation and many states have already begun to develop relevant regulations.

ICO has not died, but it is gradually losing investors, why? Because fraudsters are increasing every day, when investors are constantly being deceived, they will stay away from the ICO market!

Death is impossible, but it will definitely be drastically reduced. The future ICO may need to compete to buy because it will become very small. Perhaps the ICO era has become a past tense. Maybe there will be new technology and better investment in the future.

I am not sure that the ICO is dying off. It seems to me that the conditions will simply be changed. The market forces us to transform. I think that public sale stage will die off the. In the place of private investors will come funds that will invest long money. This will allow projects not to hurry and to do their work with high quality. Speculators will no longer interfere.

maybe, I see there are many managers who don't take part in the bounty campaign. maybe ico is currently not better than last year's ico. and regarding sales it is very difficult to get hardcap. I think the market conditions make this happen.

The system of icos is not dying what it is happening is that the market is not in the condition to support so many icos at the same time, so we are bound to see a reduction in the amount of coins that are released every year and if we take into account that people are not as naive as before then this explains what we are seeing and what we will see in the future.

The number of people investing in the ICO decreases every month and it continues to decline. Currently over 80% ico does not achieve softcap. Too many projects appear, but there are too few investors. It causes an imbalance at the present time, And in the future I think this imbalance will continue to take place, ICO will not die completely there will still be some successful ICO if they are good enough marketing

The situation when the market has a lot of projects, which for the most part has all the features of scam projects, will certainly show poor results. despite the fact that most investors today are very skeptical about new projects.

I doubt that they are dying, because it is a good way to start a startup without having to sell your soul to the institutions, the problem is that now there is not as much investment as before, as things have become a bit normal, it is much harder to earn money for your project, so only  leaving projects that are really good and have a high chance of winning the necessary funds for development.
