ICOs in September had a really bad return. If you invested in the top performing ICO you lost 45% of the investment Tongue This ICO was Tolar (TOL).

As many of us have already said the regulations has made the market and the ico more mature, more real and most of all a real placw and safe place for real investor all around the world so this is the time to hold to the crypto world

ICOs are not dying off, what I see and understand is that the good ICOs are been filtered while the craps are thrown out of the system, When ever reputable project emerges, it get funded.
I don't agree with you. There are plenty of good projects with working product but still their token sale remains unsuccessful and this is because of bearish conditions and from past few months only few of ICOs did well and those were the ones backed by investment companies (FBG capital etc. ).

no in my opinion the icos are not dying but there are many of low quality without innovative ideas, we just have to look good those worthy in which we deserve to invest

maybe. most of the ICO's today are not reaching hardcap and softcap is a big deal. unlike in the past few years were ICO's are successfully conducted and fewer scams. maybe the investors are tired of scams and fraud projects.

ICO is facing a big problem from the investors.
THere are so many SCAM ICO now which investors are getting into trouble.
Now even legit ICO are being down, because most of investors are not trusting ICO anymore.
This should be fix soon, or ICO will definitely die.

They are, slowly but gradually, they are. There is no way that the coins were ever going to last a long time in the market, I mean look at all of the scams being caried out all in the name of icos. People are losing their money to these scams on the daily and now people are getting wiser, they are no longer investing in the icos and that is why they are taking in less money

At the moment, a really bad time for ICO projects, since all investors are waiting for favorable market conditions, but I am sure that everything will get better when the trend changes and the market recovers. Investing in projects will still be profitable.

Now is the time when new projects are very strictly selected because of this there is an illusion that the projects become smaller.

To say that ICO is dying off, we must have some certain proof. Here, the ICOs are still surviving with its efforts to stay in the cryptocurrency world. We can see many new ICOs are available to participate. many of them are scams but many others are also legit and promising with good concepts. So, I think this is only the down market for all, not only for ICO. I'm sure that every ICo that has good concept will survive.

No they are not dying off. Due to the market situation at the moment, nobody wants to invest in ICOs and the reasons are clear. No ICO can guarantee you profit on such a market, thats why investors are staying away from ICOs at the moment. When the market recovers, the things will change.

They could not have such situatiopns because they are used buy people till this moment and their getting weaker is not so significant for participants.

They are not dying now they are just losing popularity thanks to the spreading scam but with such trend ICOs will die so soon and it will not be changed.

At the cost of an ETH of $ 200, many ICOs simply cannot assemble a softcap. Perhaps the matter is that the cost of ETH is too bloated and its cost plummets from $ 1,400 to $ 200.

Some people are saying ICOs are dying I think because of the fall down of crypto but that is not the real basis to say that, their are also ICOs that are very important and very useful.

ICO will never die. What is happening now in the investment market is a phenomenon that will soon change. Those who believe that the ICO is dying - do not understand that everything that happens has the principle of a wave. First up - then down. Then again very much up.

This is logical since the  market is down, most of the investors have lost their money in past ICOs and do not see no point of going and investing in other ICOS.
There is a possibility that this will change with regulated ICOs, but we just can wait and see.

This effect on the ICO fund raising is due to longest bear market and because of that the negativity rising on the investors. But in this month there are so many ICOs going on which are worth investing like Temco, bridges protocol, ultrain, blocked etc. In cryptocurrency market ICOs are the only which brings out fresh money into business therefore ICOs will never die in the future as long as the ICOs have quality, vision, working product with great teams, advisors and partners behind them.
By the end of the year, an initial money offer (ICO) will be launched on Bitcoin.
While Ethereum, the second largest blockchain in market value, and other smart contract protocols have been the choice for most entrepreneurs interested in creating new tokens, a sidechain created by RSK will give Bitcoin the ability to be used also for fund-raising.
In fact, the original concept of an ICO was started in the Bitcoin blockchain still in 2013 - though with infrastructure comparatively limited to what Ethereum possesses today - by the self-proclaimed inventor of the idea, raised a total of half a million dollars to the token "mastercoin", later renamed to omni.
And, Temco, a South Korean-based startup blockchain focused on supply chain management, will take advantage of both RSK's original idea and technology to launch a token sale.

RSK has been working on its sidechain of smart contracts for Bitcoin since early 2016. Smart contracts are written in the same language as Ethereum - Solidity. And the network is powered by a criptocoeda attached to Bitcoin, called Smart Bitcoin.
Still in the beta version, only a handful of crypto models are implementing smart contracts on RSK's sidechain today.

There are still plenty of ICOs out there and the good ones are still able to raise their hard cap target even in this weak market.
I actually wonder what the OP saw to have said that ICOs are dying off. There are so many ICOs with great project ideas and product popping out every single day and it is either the OP is blind to see them or he just does not know how to find them.

The ICO space is still growing although, as time goes on, it will get pretty much matured than what we have now as we keep seeing more institutions and bigger investors coming in and then as we see regulation becoming a norm somehow. ICOs have shown a huge growth and I do not see any dying off at all anytime soon.

It is like a domino effect. Due to the negative market situation, some investors are not particioating anymore into the projects which serves as a huge problem for ICO projects. People are still waiting until recovery happen in the market in order to be safe from profit loss. So from here, we may expect that ICOs would be again alive once changes occur in favor for cryptos.
