I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.

if I prefer long term, because it is the world of crypto is more comfortable play long term,

so I keep it coin until the price is really expensive already bener I release,

because the target is for that I play in the world of crypto, if for short-term play is better to play stocks alone,

Sorry for bad my language

The longer term is better because it has the time and opportunity to mature what matters to the goal.

The only way to truly make huge gains in crypto is play long term. These huge swings we have been going through can literally make or break you. I only just set my buy price and don't look at it again until a predetermine date or goal.

Look at all the crypto-millionaires they freaking held.

Sometimes it is very difficult to resist and not sell a coin at a price that has already become several times higher than the price at which you got in. But we must remember that the price of good coins is always growing in a long term. This should stop you from selling)
Yes, how much can she get up? If you are talking about a coin that has already risen 3 times from the initial price, what price can you still wait for?

I stick to the retention strategy. There are coins that, after the collapse of bitcoin, have lost 2-3 times in price, but nevertheless I keep them. I'm sure that the spring will bring us good X. Let's see if 2018 will be as productive as 2017 ...

Nice to keep things positive:) I also hold my investments and hope for the best. Some of coins have fallen in price up to 4x but the will be back on track soon:) Maybe...

Several times tried to trade, eventually realized to sit in hold the best strategy that only can be, the main thing is to choose the right projects for the long-term, and this is much more interesting than trading

Now the situation in the crypto-currency market is not the same. It is not yet clear whether the whole market will fall further or the growth will begin. It is always necessary to proceed from the current market situation when making trading.

Both are equally profitable but each has a risk, long term can not be done in altcoin that is not potential because in fear the price will drop, while the short term can be done anywhere but it takes a lot of skill and patience, iam personally is short term

For the altcoin yes I'm a short term but in the bitcoin I'm a long term , and it still depend on the price of the coin. Sometimes of excitement I sell without a doubt though and my target price cause I invest into bitcoin and ethereum so basically a high profit expected but we can't assure though so I rather sell although my target price did not reach. In long term you can say that you will have a good profit.

It cant really be avoided on those times on where we do sell out on early phase specially when we do already see that we are on gains which isnt really bad at all as long we do make profits then it should be fine even do we see the price soar up even more. Those kinds of scenarios are normal which either short term or long term trades would be entirely depending on situation and the coins you are holding on.

When  I started in the crypto world I started with short term trading, was quite stressful and I wasn't good at it. Took me a while to figure it out and I see myself doing better long term. I prefer to do my own research about different projects and invest in what I believe in, since then, I've been doing way better.  Wink

i tend to depend it on the coin i am holding, if the potential is good i don't set a considerably good price point for that but rather the time and how much pump it reached but if the coin is not too good and has a small potential to increase in the future of course i always set the standard for the price i am accepting.

sometimes I use target price to sell my coins if I think the coin will increase higher but in the other time, I only see what is happening in the market and if I think it is the best time to sell, then I sell for instant sell. but if I can wait for the price to go up, maybe I will wait to sell my coin until the price increases and I think I can place my sell order to make a profit.

Most important thing is to first know your goal but long term usually pays off very well even more than you expect... all you have to do is be patient and buy coins and tokens of great promising projects

This is the best thing we have to do because in short period of time it is not possible for us to increase our investment. Always we need to wait until we make some good profit on our investment, so always look for a long-term project which can give huge returns if you hold them for certain period of time.

I can say that i am a short term trader in terms of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies..But of course,it totally depends on how well we do them.Because for me,short term trading is more profitable because i can buy on every dip and i can sell on every peak..I know that it is more difficult to be in a short term trading but surely the reward is huge since the the price of bitcoin and other coins is unpredictable and very unstable...
