maybe one day i will do that i.e. teach my kids about cryptocurrencies. But for now I myself am still layman. and still need a lot to learn about it. and if someday the time comes. when I am already proficient or have sufficient knowledge. then maybe I will offer a little to my child about this knowledge. but I won't force it. I will only teach my child if it turns out he is interested. and if he's not interested then I guess I shouldn't force him. but I'm pretty sure. even though we as parents do not teach them. but by looking at the current developments and progress, our children will know for themselves. and maybe one day they will come to us and ask us by themselves.

No. I won't teach my kids about what bitcoin/cryptocurrency is and how to use it. Especially since my children are 5 and 8 years old. I prefer to let them play with their own world, build creativity, and get to know the real world. It will help them in the future in many ways.
It's possible that I will begin introducing cryptocurrency to them when they are 15, or maybe not, unless they find out for themselves.

~ we should not interfere with the lives of our children because in my opinion also children must remain in the world of children, ~
Do you already have children? If you have, I'm sure you won't say that. Lemme tell you, you must interfere in their lives and control how they grow up. If you decide not to teach them about cryptocurrencies, that is part of the interfering. That's what I mean.

I am a mother may be different from you a little .
Introducing bitcoin from an early age I think is too much, but if they already understand what money is and how to get it then we can teach them and tell them what bitcoin is,
about you saying complete financial freedom if you have bitcoin I think that's too much, it's good for us to explain the risks that will be faced if investing in bitcoin first
because basically the interests and talents of each child/person are different, we cannot force everything on the people closest to us

This depends on the age of the child. They still need to play and explore the world if they are too young. When they are in school and on their own, we should introduce them and become financially aware. You have also made the point that not all of the children are the same, so I am sure one of them is not interested in it. We usually don't force our children when it comes to that. Since bitcoin is already famous, I am sure they will know about it later on.

Bitcoin and crypto are volitile assets and should not be forced on kids. There are things meant to be taught kids and there are things for adults. Bitcoin is an adult education and should not be used to border kids that will be learning common sense education. The best a parent should do is to show kids his/her private keys incase of demise. Whenever they grow up, they will learn the technology invoke in their time.
Giving your kids your private keys just all in the sake of uncertainty like death without first giving them the knowledge and idea of what such keys posseses is like giving a treasuring bag full of gold to someone that has no knowledge of the value of gold.
Just like the saying goes, "when the value of a thing is unknown  abuse is inevitable".

Your kids might come to the knowledge of the value of what the private keys posseses probably when they might have abandoned or loss it due to the clueless idea of what it was and by then they must have been left behind by other kids who had the knowledge of Bitcoin ahead of them.

I will let children know the principles and uses of cryptocurrency. They can't make the right choice in cryptocurrency now, and many adults have been deceived because of cryptocurrency, let alone children.
If they are not interested, you have to forcefully teach him about cryptocurrency, and they will be disgusted, so let them actively choose to learn the investment knowledge they want to learn.

It's our responsibility as parents to guard our children on the right path, rather than misleading them all in the name of been over protective of them and hiding some vital information about the real world. It's either we are dormant on letting our kids know about the crypto space or watch them grow into adults and discover it their selves which will be very wrong, because they won't exercise patience when studying about it. Children getting full knowledge about Bitcoin without the necessary risk management concerning it is highly tag risky and not suitable yet for kids. Although the world changing and one needs to adapt to some essential changes put into practice. Our method of savings and transferring money have completely changed and developed, big companies and people saved most of their assets in Crypto, highlighten our children, I consider it important and should also be our top priority to see our children gets familiar with Bitcoin and how the foreign market operates. The earlier they get into the space, the better, because they come to realize and know more interesting stuffs about Bitcoin, the pumping and dumping of it.

I  agree that Bitcoin education should be taught to persons at a particular range but creating an awareness in the mind of the kids may not also be wrong,  learning the child the basis of crypto may not even actually be done by their parents as said in the topic title

The world has evolved so greatly that most of our kids you feel don't know about this advancement are actually exposed to it in different ways and medium so putting them through thoroughly is not also a bad idea , we are further preparing them to understand the concept behind this crypto ecosystem we are in now

Everything in the future is unpredictable, and you will not make decisions for your child's thoughts. When the child grows up, they may have new ideas when they are young. I will not interfere with my child. If it is imposed on him, he may be more disgusted.
What I want you to understand in this aspect is that teaching your child a cryptocurrency at the earliest age is more preferable because I understand that this world is going to be a digital world in time coming so any child that is being born in this era is supposed to know about cryptocurrency from the beginning to the end so that when it grows up it will learn all the technology that come in contact with cryptocurrency

I don’t recommend instilling this kind of thinking in them too early, because the encrypted world has its advantages and disadvantages, and many adults collapse because of this and do things they can’t regret. When the children are mature, the decision to enter the circle is up to them.

Not only my kids, but my neighbor's kids know bitcoin too. In a casual conversation with my neighbor, the little guy suddenly told us that he also knows Bitcoin. I was surprised, I asked the neighbor if he had told it? He said that the child may be listening to others, he never told him specifically. I said that I've started educating my kids about this, and I think cryptocurrencies are the future.

The dream of every successful businessman or woman is to have a good successor. you can not be in the light in which bitcoin has brought you to and allow your children to suffer because you failed to teach them the secret behind your wealth. Let your kids know that bitcoin is the surest way to financial freedom, teach them now that bitcoin is of more value than fiat currency, educate them about the importance of bitcoin to mankind, let them know that bitcoin has changed the economy of countries who saw the light in it and adopted it as a means of doing transactions.

Now that your kids are young and vibrant, be their tutor, ensure they are bitcoin oriented, save them from financial dependency, encourage them to rely on bitcoin instead of saving fiat currency that Depreciates now and then.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.

I may not, there are new things in an era, I may not have a long-term plan, I only want my children to be healthy. For a child, I will support what he likes to do as long as it is suitable for his age. If he is interested in bitcoin or blockchain, I will also consciously cultivate and teach such knowledge. This is an important premise.

I respect my children and grandchildren for their own ideas, and when they grow up interested in virtual currencies and want to know more about them, I will encourage and support them and teach them what I know.

I agree with your opinion. indeed we should not interfere with the lives of our children because in my opinion also children must remain in the world of children, namely playing and so on. so in my opinion teaching children about bitcoin there should be no coercion and of course it has to be of his own he volition.

I totally agree with your words. If we can teach our kids about Bitcoin today, we can save them from financial disaster in the future. After all they are our future.
Not just bitcoin but entirely about financial management while they're at a young age. Like simple things of budgeting and anything related to money on how to keep it.
As they grow up, they will have the discipline on how to give importance to money management and the same goes in investing because that will make them a better person when they grow up. That's the treasure that they will forever cherish from the teachings that we give to them. Of course, bitcoin is there but it all sums up for being a financial literate.

Really, there's no harm in teaching them something useful for their future. We know bitcoin is one of the best in crypto both from its use cases or its huge potential as a great store of value in the long term. I believe kids aged 15+ deserve this knowledge especially if they are genuinely interested in learning it. This will foster great interest from the child in what they are learning today.

Bitcoin would be a great thing to learn regardless of what one's ultimate goal towards it is. 20 years from now, bitcoin will likely be even better off than it is today, I hope so.

Dont rely on it because we dont know on what the future really looks like plus we dont really know on how Bitcoin would really be ending up but if you do really have faith then its not ideal on going all in with investment.

Your childrens future doesnt really rely on Bitcoin investment but rather with your other investments as well.Esablishing out himself in terms of knowledge which this is where information about bitcoin not limited to it
and other things should be taught. Of course this would really be a tough one on speaking on every aspect, so its better to stick into the basics and dont rush up on making them learn
along the way.
Give out the pros and con's of it so that they wouldnt really be expecting something always positive to happen.

I think we should not force anything on kids. They should pick their hobbies or subjects based on their interests. You can give them brief idea about crypto and from there if he has some interest in crypto, he will himself do the effort to learn more. By the time he grows up, I am sure there will be courses related to crypto taught in school and colleges. He can thus pick those subjects there based on his interests and demand of crypto at that time.

On the other hand, if you try to force the study of crypto on your kids, they might start hating it. This is what happens with normal subjects also. They start disliking subjects which are forced on them without their interests. One such subject is Mathematics which is disliked by lot of subjects.

Finally, while teaching crypto to your kids, use simple language so that they understand everything properly.

It's a good idea to teach kids about Bitcoin, but it shouldn't be forced upon them in any way. Instead, I prefer to motivate them to focus on their education and make informed career decisions. I also let them know that there is technology available that is packed with bitcoin and cryptocurrency, as I am myself.

It will be more better for kids to learn about business not only Bitcoin and crypto so they can be independent of government in future. All things this kids need know about Bitcoin now is only the introduction, other steps of technology support to be learn in adult stage so they can go for more research themselves because it will  not be useful for this kids at this early stage, because when you don't work to achieve money I will you invest or what are providing security for.
