I think it is very important to teach a child what you know yourself, and then he will choose the way to go   Grin

There are some certain things that the school system does not teach your children in school, like how to make money and this is where parents should ensure they fill in that role.

Bitcoin education and awareness is something we should prioritize in teaching our kids, currently there's no primary or secondary that teaches children about Bitcoin, while children are definitely the best people that right now needs Bitcoin awareness and education because they are the future generations who are gonna be there tomorrow to continue where we will stop, and in the process could better their lives.

Wonder working God
Getting your kids in to bitcoin investment is a very great idea, I guess it's never bad of you showing them the way to success too.
Introducing bitcoin to you child is on you because you will have to know the age of the child or kid you're about to impact the knowledge of investment in to.
As a matter of fact making bitcoin known to your kid is also making them learn how to save and investing too,it is very legal for a child to know how to invest from his or her early age so as to make them be a great men and women in future coming. But first you have to teach them well about investment, making them know why they need to invest and also teach the advantage and disadvantage of it also.it not just been sent to school only but to how make them know how to make money and become successful in life, and this can make you kid to have solved his or her problems without getting to your notices because you have build them well on how to invest and make there own money on the own. Making them know about bitcoin well can even make them to be also a help to the family as well.

yes, it's a great idea to teach kids about bitcoin, but it should teach kids about bitcoin
is to have to wait for the right moment, and also there should be no element of coercion.

but we also have to remember that every human being is interested in bitcoin and some are not.

Teaching kids about cryptocurrency is like teaching them about money. It should be taught in school to kids and teenagers in middle and high school.
However, that won't happen since they only teach us what they want us to learn and overwhelm
us with knowledge in order to make us dependent on the government, incur large student loan debt, and behave more like consumers than entrepreneurs.

It is a common thing that children of businessmen tend to go into business because they follow their parents.  Especially they take care of father's established business without any trouble.  In this case, he has to study about business. There are schools, colleges, universities to study about business.  And after a certain age he is taught these. So in this case, instead of forcing bitcoins on children, it would not be too much of a problem to tell them about bitcoins at a certain age like 15-18 years old. Then they will be much more mature and will be able to understand everything very easily

I don't force my kids to learn about cryptocurrencies. I will tell them some interesting facts about cryptocurrencies, and if they are interested, I will continue to teach them. But some of the kids around me now know about cryptocurrencies. The same goes for my kids, they also know more or less about cryptocurrency. Because I also have some assets in cryptocurrency, and in the end it is all wealth to be left to the children.
you don't need to force your kids mate but at least do your best to let them learn and understand crypto , this maybe not only for them but also for you to have someone to inherit your funds in safe place when there is something happened in the future , also for their future as we knew Bitcoin is the future currency and everyone must learn and use this may not now but at least for their life.
I also intend to teach my children about crypto when they are old enough to understand it, but I certainly won't force them to necessarily follow the path I have chosen. Bitcoin is an excellent way to get us to financial freedom, but it is not the only way to achieve financial freedom. We have many other options, and as long as they choose the path that is right for them, that's a success. Our parents don't force us, and we shouldn't force our children either.

Let your kids know that bitcoin is the surest way to financial freedom, teach them now that bitcoin is of more value than fiat currency, educate them about the importance of bitcoin to mankind,
Yeh absolutely it's an important knowledge for kids to know because due to inflation the value of fiat currency going down which is woory moment for them who hold fiat for future, because after few year same amount of dollars will not worth like now. So personally I will teach my kid to guide them about the importance of Bitcoin and also will teach them that how Bitcoin will safe your fund from devaluation,
I think not providing knowledge of Bitcoin to your kids from now will be a fool decision for you
Explaining them about these economical stuffs and other things like technicality of crypto as a whole then it would really be just right that you should consider out on an age which your children
do able to comprehend on what you are trying to explain up on things because there's a certain age which you cant really be able to make them understand which it would be pointless
if you do really tend to make out some explanation just because they dont still understand on things but its true that the earlier would be better to be
aware of these things.

Agreed on the general sentiment of OP: If you have knowledge about Bitcoin, you should try and teach your kids about it. Just make sure it's about the actual technology and implications for society and the monetary world - and not from a speculative standpoint.

My personal take is, if you really understand some of the more important fundaments of the decentralized nature of Bitcoin and all that comes with it, you have the responsibility to share your knowledge.
That does ofc not mean pushing anyone or boring people that don't care with any kind of facts.
Look for those rare individuals instead that are open-minded and knowledge hungry and interested in true innovation and new possibilities. Then just have a nice conversation a la Socrates. Just my 50 sats.

It couldn't be more true, I don't think educating a child about bitcoin or finance early on will guarantee that they will become a good moneymaker. We need to know their needs and interests as well as their forte, should not impose our thoughts on anyone, especially a child, let them freely choose.

Why even do we need to tell our kids about bitcoin for them to make money? You tell your kids about dollars and will they start earning dollars and fiat money, NO.

Rather than this, we should focus on teaching our kids the skills which can make them money as they grow up. If they have the skills, they can earn bitcoin or whatever currency. Yes, they (the kids) should know and taught that bitcoin is a digital currency through which you can transfer money from one person to another.

I am a mother may be different from you a little .
Introducing bitcoin from an early age I think is too much, but if they already understand what money is and how to get it then we can teach them and tell them what bitcoin is,
about you saying complete financial freedom if you have bitcoin I think that's too much, it's good for us to explain the risks that will be faced if investing in bitcoin first
because basically the interests and talents of each child/person are different, we cannot force everything on the people closest to us
yes you are right. we as parents should be wiser in this regard. Waiting for our children to become more mature and understand financial or economics first is a wise move. and we can only introduce and not impose. because in the end we have to let them choose whether they are interested or not at all. because as you said that everyone's interests are different. But still introducing is needed as insight. because in the future knowledge like this will be needed.

Bitcoin is not the only way to get rich, we should remember today's billionaires a lot of people were rich before they invested in bitcoin. There are many ways to make life good, not just bitcoin. Let them choose for themselves the same way we choose bitcoin, no one forced us

While I don't have any kids of my own that can learn about Bitcoin, I have a number of extended family members with kids who are learning to rea and spend a good bit of time on YouTube.

Every Christmas or birthday, they always get bitcoin-related content from me but I will admit, there is a shortage of quality bitcoin books for children that are available.

I am looking forward to more bitcoin content being published in the coming years but I have noticed that kids really seem to like the little bitcoin holder comics. I think that could be the winning model moving forward to get kids interested and aware of bitcoin at such a young age.

Introducing this technology and field of investment takes time especially for young individuals. A parent may use a more practical scenarios which won't ruin their childhood such as allowing them to sell candies to their friends or at school if they would want to. This may infuse to their thought an idea of capitalism and investment which won't be as harmful as with bigger assets. Just the idea would be enough on their early years. Wait for that idea to manifest afterwards but pushing them to do so may just interrupt their development. Allow things to happrn atleast close to what is 'natural'. Being an adult we should guide the young ones for the betterment without actually destroying happiness; that's important.

Agreed, everything need to be done at the right time. This could help them understand better about it. Understanding finance and economics isn't an easy thing as understanding a game. Introducing the kids about cryptocurrencies should take place in a way same as how the kids understands the smartphone wallets.

Nowadays for payments people use Mobile wallets much than the banking applications. Same as that slowly using cryptocurrency wallets will let them understand better about it.

Well It is better for children to learn about the world around them, including how cryptocurrency functions. No matter the situation, as part of good parenting, it is my job to help my children understand the complexities of the financial world. In our digital age, that means helping them not only navigate the traditional financial world but also understand how cryptocurrency an emerging form of payment works. “I will teach my children about crypto currency because it is an emerging technology”. There are many ways to teach them with analogies or by letting them experience it first hand. If they're old enough to play video games, they're old enough to start learning about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies..

My child is still in my belly, and will come to this world in 2023. I am learning prenatal education and first learn the basics of Bitcoin. For children, I think this is the best time.
Congrats in advance for that and yes you need to learn the basics first is you are new in here. We can't just teach btc to our kids if we are not familiar with it because we can only give them wrong information. You can say that is the best time to teach them because you can also buy btc at cheap but for me, anytime is the best time or the earlier the better.

Our aim is to invest for long term to possibly gave them a better future so it won't hurt even if you buy btc at a little expensive price because you still won't be selling it later on. Sadly I don't have a kid yet. I think im not ready to have a family but I can still save up on my own and some of this will be for my future family.
