I like the way of ARK. It is fair for everyone.
The voting way of lisk is something unfair for many users. (In my view)

Slack is not the best thing for those that follow many cc's. It is best to receive our updates and news via this forum. I have not idea why so many project start on this board and then assume it is best to move the majority of discussion to slack. Sure you have a lot of trolls around on the forums but really even self moderated threads with clear rules are better than slack for those that are interested in multiple currencies. If the majority of discussion must move to slack then there should be regular updates here too to avoid looking slack.
Slack is the best for us as a team, I personally prefer it because i can be notified on mobile 24/7. It is our global office and will remain that way.
All weekly updates will be placed in ARK general slack channel. We can paste the update here as well, but it will be a day or two later.
For constant contact and updates slack is where we will be.
Didn't know we can install slack on our phones, will try that today.
Its being hyped since the start of the ICO and it slow down after it. It does look like the thrill is gone. I understand this will be released this February and it keeps testing the patience of the users.
the "thrill" is just a trader thing. Lot of people here have a lot of excitement for ARK, we just use our slack more often. There's a lot of new competing projects out there but I bet very few have the love of Crypto like our group. It's not about the secondary objectives like making money but the primary objective which is getting people to use blockchain that otherwise would not bother to do so.
And getting users is not about spending good money flying around the world and singing to the choir about something they probably already have read on the internet for free.
ARK has done and is doing more with less, which is the best way.

imo ARK is this years diamond in the rough. Overlooked during the TEC but will make our mark in 2017, I think those that gave ARK their trust will be given an amazing blockchain ecosystem.
