Slack is not the best thing for those that follow many cc's. It is best to receive our updates and news via this forum. I have not idea why so many project start on this board and then assume it is best to move the majority of discussion to slack. Sure you have a lot of trolls around on the forums but really even self moderated threads with clear rules are better than slack for those that are interested in multiple currencies. If the majority of discussion must move to slack then there should be regular updates here too to avoid looking slack.

" self moderated threads with clear rules are better than slack"

Totally agree with you. When I need to see what's going on in a particular project, I usually don't have time to wade through all the Slack posts no matter how well they are organized. Coming here and reading the last posts every day is much easier and keeps me updated without all the BS included in Slack. And, there is nothing wrong with moderated forums as some people think when the project is obviously legitimate, in fact, I, for one, prefer it. Just my 2 cents worth...

Quick question: I thought i read that there is going to be a recalculation of the amount of ARK people got because of the refunds. Is this true, and if yes, when will the recalculations be?

Next point of business, testnet has been reset and started from scratch due to substantial changes to the ARK Core and how addressing works. Fix has made some important improvements that will bring an added layer of security.

ARK now runs using a Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallet. This makes the ARK wallet more on par with Bitcoin and you will see your addresses have changed. For more info on how HD wallets work, read this: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Deterministic_wallet or our whitepaper: https://ark.io/Whitepaper-ARK.pdf

ARK is the first DPoS based Blockchain to implement an HD wallet solution and we hope it shows that we aren’t satisfied with the status quo but plan to make improvements wherever possible to increase the efficiency and security of the ARK Blockchain.

Hey, want to launch your own public or private chain?

Want to see the new testnet changes?
https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases/tag/testnet0.2.0
Everything can be found on our github currently. And lots more to come.

We are also currently developing a one click ARK installer.
Just download ARK installer and let it do everything for you, how cool is that!?

Great, translation ark desktop in full swing. So all and sundry go to the slack and help to make the translation to your native language.
I helped than I could. Sorry if something is not as it should.

It is best if you updating on your site, here and even email to ICO participants. Not everyone like slack, included myself. Just my 2 coins.

I don't like slack either. I would prefer updates here on this forum.

Hi, I bought ARK during the ICO and have downloaded the wallet and created an account, how can I send my ICO ARK to my wallet ?

Thanks !
You downloaded the testnet wallet and created a testnet account. Mainnet hasn't launched yet, before it does you will finds instructions how you can access your TEC address on the ARK TEC site.

I think you didn't read that of what you were responsing to. Because you just agreed with Litcoincollector who you were replying to and disagreed with Bitbanksy.

The point LitcoinCollector was trying to make is that ICO (TEC) participants have no (or very limited) right to decided how the funds are used after, but BitBanksy doesn't think so.
Other tried to make the point repeatedly that ARK voting with the TEC lisk is somewhat similar to how Lisk used BTC to participate in ByteBall distribution as both was to the advantage of the project and it's teams while doing so was possible without spending the funds on these not directly project development events. But BitBanksy disagreed.

So you just delivered an explanation of how ByteBall distribution worked to make a point that didn't needed to be made, only to BitBanksy.

Who's calling me into cause again? I rested my case...

why are you here again?
