The rampage on btc-tc is calming down and prices are stabilizing a bit.
Any idea if on tomorrow dividends there will be any sales too?

Hard to say. The blade sales page has attracted a lot of traffic (almost 12,000 page views). Someone on that thread said it took 3 days to get a response from AM, so to me it sounds like Shenzhen are run off their feet at the moment. I think some early shipments of USB sticks have left as well. It might depend on when AM consider the goods 'delivered' whether they deem it appropriate to retain the revenues. At some point I expect friedcat will want to retain some earnings for future investment, but we won't know it's happened until he says so.

I'm thinking hardware sales are going to be high for a little while, but we won't get a clearer picture for another 24 hours.

I'm not sure how much of the hoopla on btct is due to solo mining, hardware sales, people just wanting something to speculate on, or all three! Smiley

It's quite likely.

Id like to see some coverage of asicminer on Forbes, CNN money, etc.  Asicminer is an amazingly successful startup, I'm excited to learn what friedcat has planned for the future.  I think it would be awesome if they come out with more consumer hardware and ship it all before bfl! lol.

You can't kill math.
Have you noticed that some TAT Shares traded at BTC0.0333 a while back?

Yah, wow, all I can assume is the wall was really small (aint now though).

I've put up a site with my estimation of the solo hash rate. It's currently hovering around 10 Thash/s: http://runeks.dk/bitcoin/

The uncertainty is still quite large, as we've only seen about 19 hours of solo mining. So as you can see it jumps a lot in the beginning, but it's starting to smooth out. The more time that passes, the more reliable the figure will be.

I love charts, thank you. I can't wait until somebody can put all of these different graphs and the current share value on one page so I can stop checking 3 different pages over and over.

can somebody tell me how can I transfer my direct shares into BTCT to sell at that funny price

Just PM friedcat , He will deal with it.

Really? this is kinda insane if true, he is already dealing with so much and people must be bombarding him with PMs and emails etc how can he possibly handle all this and not have someone to take care of that part of a busines

You need to PM PT operator (burnside, deadterra) not the Friedcat.

Learning the troll avoidance button :)
So, just made it through the 270+ pages of this thread.

I bought ASIC around page 110 at 1.6 from Havelock. Current trade price 2.88.

Things I've learned:

1. Friedcat is smart. The board is just as sharp. This is important to note. It is tough to lose faith in a company when management is doing a good job.

2. Share prices have been steadily rising. This is a point of concern, as there are no companies I know of which have maintained a rise without drops. On a long enough timeline I submit that ASIC will continue to rise, but there may be bumps along the way. These bumps would be a good time to buy.

3. ASIC is the market leader, and this solo mining is an exciting venture, and is in line with the company's statement to invest and move into areas to maximize profitability, even outside just ASIC Mining.

4. The people in this thread are good at making charts.

Here's what a test script of mine is outputting, which seems pretty reasonable given that ASICMiner's hashrate went from 20 to 14 TH/s on collective pools.

Code:
Total ASICMiner blocks in past 144: 12
Rough Network Percentage: 8.333333
Rough TH/s (hash/block * blocks): 6.673561
Rough TH/s (network hash * percent network): 6.349055

Nice work.
