The current pricing of 50 BTC fits well with the pricing of the previous blades and the USB miners coming out. I don't see a reason to change it. If anything, the total volumes of blades offered in this auction should be limited to meet bitfountains strategic internal demands. (Just like avalon and BFL did, I don't see why Asicminer can't raise the price
)That said, what we have here is a starving market with an exploding buying pressure - or resellers wanting to take a gamble. It makes sense to take advantage of the current situation meet the demand at this price point. 50 BTC is already a significant price point with a long-term projected ROI.
