*Since* this is the speculation thread...

Share price has been stagnant/steady in the 4.1x to 4.3 range for the past week or so, I expect the price to rise sharply when the big hardware dividends come in this week or next week.

Prepare to sell around 5.25 to 5.5, the price will soon be back to ~4.8/4.9 after the initial buying wave dies down.
WOW...that is almost impossible ,I think people are more rational now other than essay to get crazy as they used to.

What's impossible? The rise or the come back to 4.8?

Nothing indicates to me that 'people are more rational now' than they were two weeks ago; the bubble just popped (and yes, there can be multiple bubbles and pops).

The recent BASIC-MINING skyrocket and fall, the fact that TAT.VM only now just broke .004 (besides the dive a few weeks ago), and the fact that BFMINES is 1/3 sold tell me that people are just as crazy as they used to be.

People are crazy ,especially when you look at AMC, a company that does not provides any evidence of its physical product ,but get 5 times increase of its share's price...This just amazed, I do not invest even my singe BTC into this company ,The reason is simple ,they use fake picture to demonstrating as their product..I think this just a simple  evidence of dishonest....

I think for the share price of ASICMINER is only determine by its P/E ratio, no matter what the price is ,if P/E ratio stay 20% per year, no reason to call it a bubble..but if P/E ratio below 20% , then the market will possibly adjusting the share price( as decrease its share price).

How many AMC shares exist?

When ASICMINER launched their IPO they only had computer models of their chip design to show as can be seen from this archived version of the official AM thread:

http://web.archive.org/web/20130305000147/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.0

Investing in IPO's does require having some faith (or insider knowledge).

I don't understand the strategy of various companies right now to provide pre-orders for products deliverable in 4 months at huge discounts when compared to CURRENT difficulty. Why don't they just wait until they have a product to sell and sell it at premium prices?

The uncertainty the miners have to go through when placing such an order is mind staggering. I cannot escape the conclusion that either these offers are of the same kind as from butterfly labs (dishonest, offloading delay risk) or their pricing is such, that they expect more return on their product when asking for the money now (dishonest, charging too high).

Of course there is also the slight chance that they haven't figured out proper pricing yet. Buyer beware.

they are either dishonest or incompetent, I see no other explanation...

Ken couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery let alone run a mining network. He's out of his depth. The IPO was a complete and utter shambles.
Considering his intention is to fake, twist, manipulate & scam people out of lots of BTC, he's been pretty successful so far.
Well assuming bad investor logic I should have just bought everything I could get at 0.012 and scalped all of it back at market price  Wink

And used google images roger

The fact that the operator is outbidding HIMSELF by BTC5 for ads to sell more pre-orders should not induce confidence in those who have put faith in that operation.

I find it hard to take a company seriously when they have a DVD-rom attached to their miners.
All their pictures are stolen, it's very easy to find them with reverse image search.
They even stole pictures of Avalon units.

BFL delivers one year late, but I'm pretty sure those guys will never deliver.

Link? I'm not very reverse-image search saavy.

I loved the two disclaimers at the bottom of their page:

"All Fast-Hash images are prototypes, final designs may be different.
All Specification Subject To Changes."

I am guessing no third party has mined with these machines?  Is this BFL part deux or a genuine disruptor?  Truly curious--don't know much about them.
