You might be pointing out on hackers planning to attack exchanges and other platforms that are holding bitcoins. This attacks really make bitcoin and cryptocurrency less secured as of now. This is a long-time issues that still need to be resolved.
It is possible, there are theories about a quantum computer breaking and decoding privatekey through public keys. Though it is far from happening today but it will be a serious threat for BTC security if Bitcoin security features do not improve along the advancement of computers.

governments are powerful . they have lots of cash and they can order ready made quantom computers but i dont think that these computers can attack bitcoin via public address . btw is this some kind of a brutforce ? , if yes then they must need some part of the private key or some parts of the users passwords before they can attempt to crack it .
to be well aware on their actions, it's very important to keep being updated and to keep checking the possibilities or how the government is working with this concern.

Somewhere, a group is preparing an attack on Bitcoin. It will come around the next big pump. The attackers will have an exponentially large advantage of computing power. If the network isn't compromised, it will be severely damaged.
Any reliable source of this info? What can you say about the extent of damage it will cost? And how are you so sure they are going to have an exponentially large advantage of computing power? If there is a legit source, then it can be real. Otherwise, just another FUD here.

No, they are trying to bruteforce it,
Typically password hacking involves a hacker brute forcing their way into a website admin panel (or login page for example) and bombarding the server with millions of variations to enter the system. That requires CPU.
Process is done to find the combination that matches the privatekey of a given public address. But with CPU alone it will take lots of time to break the privatekey of a given BTC address. Do you have a link of this information so we can at least verify if your information is correct or not as it is a very big problem if this kind of situation will occur.
But if this kind of attack will occur in the future, I am pretty sure that the team behind the bitcoin and other currencies will take an action to avoid this kind of happening to happen.

Lol. He seems to know everything that will happen to bitcoin. Seems vague for me. How can this group attack btc through computing power. I can't really imagine how this group will destroy btc. OP disappears because he doesn't have to do anything else. he puts the FUD up and then for a couple of days (in this case 24 hours) people keep his FUD on top of this board as is with this case so he achieves his goals of spreading it.

Your posts should be justified. If indeed you believe this will happen, at least there are links or information such as screenahot or anything that supports authentication of the statements you provide. If not, I guess you just want the bitcoin to go down in price and take the price below.

Look like these group have human power and knowledge to attacking bitcoin. I have solution for those group have smart brain and knowledge to make time machine/ time traveler and going back 2009 year bought all bitcoin and mined all of them. bump they become richer now
Attack to make prices down or increase volume? Maybe the popes are preparing funds to shoot bitcoin, and automatically the volume will increase, the value of bitcoin will also increase. That's my positive thought.
you are either trying to spread FUD because you missed the rise and regretting it or you are very new to bitcoin despite the age of your account. bitcoin has been under attack for nearly as long as it has existed. there is no "attack coming" the attacks has been happening all along! and nearly every day. from newbies trying to brute force private keys to big operations spending millions of dollars to spam attack bitcoin, and all different types of attacks against it.

I don't get it. If an attack fails, why would the network be severely damaged? Or are we not talking about a 51% attack here? Because I don't see how you could take down the network without doing 51%, and that doesn't actually damage any nodes at all. How long do you think before people recognize the bad guys and reorganize anyway? OP doesn't even dare use a proper account to make this claim.
