5. Why all of a sudden you thought of bringing dead Aurora coins back to life?
When the airdrop was up and running during last year and we didn't know what Baldur would do with the premine, the uncertainty was so great that it was not possible to go all in and give full support for the coin. There was work being done in the background, AUR/ISK or BTC/ISK exchange was being built, there were plans for Auroracoin foundation,
www.aurarad.is, and a dev team was talking about what has to be updated in the core code of Auroracoin. When the airdrop finished as scheduled and when Baldur burned the premine coins I think we were all willing to go for official support.
NB. It is not some one person who is bringing Auroracoin back to life. Everyone here is voluntary and everyone here has their own agenda. Some want to change the world, others want to change finance in Iceland, but we all see the same potential for the coin.
7. Give me 3 good reason, that community should believe that it's not scam and dev will not leave project in middle.
1. Auroracoin is an open project. Anyone can create a fork and overtake the project if they get enough support. So if any of the dev team leaves it is still open for anyone else to step in and make the changes that are needed.
2. The Icelandic krona is a scham!
I think the Auroracoin project is the most painless way for Iceland to overthrow the Icelandic krona. By issuing a competing currency the people in Iceland will have to make up their mind if they want to keep the króna or use the coins they got in the airdrop. Auroracoin is not forced upon anyone, it's in the hands of the people in Iceland to do what the politicians can't do. By buying more coins and using the coin, its value will increase and slowly it will out compete the króna. This will take years and there will be fluctuations in the value.
People who sell out early or have invested interest with the króna will call it a scham. People will also call it a scham when the volatility in the price will burn them, i.e. some will invest at peak prices and sell at bottom prices. This is all understood and will always be the case.
3. The new dev team and the people in the Auroracoin foundation, Auraráð, are all publicly putting their names on the project. I think all of us in the foundation or the dev team are using our own money and time to invest in the infrastructure of the coin.
