With all these altcoin exchange closing, I suspect a lot of alt will die. How to survive when there is nowhere to trade/use.  It these circonstance, Aur will somewhat be in a special spot with the ISX national exchange.

There is alteady a gap between ISX and ''rest-of-the-world'' AUR trading. I personnaly enjoy to see a market without BTC as intermediary.

If anyone wants to get an impression of the exchange, please go to http://beta.isx.is

It looks really sexy. Except that ants seem to have lost breadcrumbs all over the font.

AURORACOIN

Just a quick update from the development team. You might have noticed we are a bit behind on our schedule. This is mainly due to the holidays and new insights in our plans to approve the blockchain.

This does hoverer not mean we are not making progress! Sometimes you just have to take a little more time to get things right.

And boy,....

Are we getting it right!  Smiley

helllllll yeeaaa!

Funny, according to this rich list https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html there are less than 500 000 people who own 1 or more bitcoin.

that means that the network of people who hold any meaningful amount of bitcoin  is only slightly bigger than the population of Iceland.

What is Auroracoin going to look like when it is the default currency of Iceland?

Does anybody from Iceland know this coin?

The 3 founding members of Aurarad Foundation are 100% rotten shark eaters (icelander) - Petur/Hlynur/Hermann.

Hate to disappoint you but I don't eat the shark, it stinks!

But you do jump in the ice cold sea and ride it's back while shouting yeeehah in Icelandic right?  Grin

All Icelanders do that. Wink

What's "yeeeehah" in Icelandic?

Íhhhaaahh

Hmmmm, looks like I finally start to get some grip on this Icelandic  Grin

It's a delicate thing but you're getting there Wink

Our friend adam failed to mention that there are some official resources for users, including the official forum, with a predominantly Icelandic user base.  There is also an official Facebook page, and a twitter accounts that has a majority of the followers originating from Iceland.  The twitter link is not listed in the OP, but it can be found at https://twitter.com/OfficialAUR.
