I have never and will never use wire transfer to purchase product from anyone without a 3rd party escrow agreement (licensed legal counsel).

If you do not accept BTC then paypal or CC is the only alternatives.

I have been asking about other payment forms.

At first I asked about paypal and was declined.

I am now asking about BTC or CC.

Well I know there are a lot of purists on this board, however, supporting the blockchain doesn't mean that every single transaction
one does must be in blockchain, or does it?! That being said instead of making my next bitcoin purchase I left off $2000 and paid
my Canaan Avalon 721 (qty 2 plus controller) order with a wire from my bank:

    From:Online Savings ******XXXX
    Wire Amount: $1,962.16
    Request Date: Nov 23, 2016
Beneficiary (Recipient): Canaan Creative Hong Kong Co., Limited
    Beneficiary Bank Name: CITIBANK, N.A.
    Beneficiary Account Number: 4XXXXXX5
    Beneficiary Bank Routing Number: 0XXXXXX9
For Further Credit To / Additional Instructions: Swift Number CITMOREXXXX

I wonder if most of the guys that speak the loudest against a company that may need cash for some reason or other are truly
sincere about buying their products. That not being any of my business, however, I would like to support this company, especially
if the equipment works when it arrives!

PS As I previously posted if you wish to discuss alternate methods of payment with them place an order and open a ticket about
payment. Best regards all!

No Avalons for me oh well.

For a company that advertises themselves as someone securing the block chain they must recognize the irony of not accepting payments that are secured by said block chain.

THEY are securing the blockchain by mining it them selves   Cheesy

Don't take a genius to see that is the most profitable way to "secure" it  Cheesy

2 units 12th   2018 + 80 fee so 2100 for 12th

which is a huge premium for gear   since bitmaintech will  sell a 12 th miner for a lot less.

When they have the S9 in stock, that is.

Interesting that Wells Fargo refused to do a bank transfer.
I wonder if that's a Wells issue (they're NOT a good or even a fairly good bank IME with them) or if it's an Innosilicon issue?

I see no real chance that ZEC pricing will go up significantly ever. Haven't seen ANY mention of ANY merchant that accepts the coin, which is the kiss of death for the long term.

The only reason I see to buy an Avalon 721 is that Caanan has a better record on reliability than Bitmain has.
And for a good reason- ZEC has an ever-increasing block reward until it reaches Bitcoin's iirc, and it's too unstable and too much of a risk for a merchant to accept it. Your only hope of getting it out is to sell, and that's driving price down further. It's a dead coin unless price drops to a reasonable value, otherwise it'll just make a slow decline to nothing.

Why pay $2000 for 12th when you can buy three S7, undervolt PSU (or ask people like sidehack to do it for you) and get same 12th and similar 0.22J/h vs 0.18+ for half as much $$, especially in low electricity cost areas.
I don't see a reason to buy this one, apart from, maybe, diversification.

I am also amazed buy the apparent naivete of sellers: they don't know that miners prefer to pay for bitcoin mining machines with something else than slow poke bank transfer?
From what sidehack said 0.22J is very difficult. 0.24 is more reasonable.

Either way both are much worse then current GPU efficencies

yeah, probably true if you mine e-altcoin, but z-altcoin is too low, but might rebound soon.
pretty unlikely that their price will go up again, supply is pretty overwhelming and there's absolutely no reason that price or demand will go up along with it.
Pretty much no reason to buy this miner, but hey, it's 16nm and apparently this technology is worth buying. I'm just surprised that these guys couldn't go any lower in terms of efficiency.
