In my opinion, the average age of bitcoin users is 22-30 years old. I believe so the way they they post here it seems that they are just at that age. Very outspoken and very interested in making money online.

Currently we have most of youngsters here and few some mature which are from start main problem is publicity no one doing this for awareness so its not going to popular as its need to have but now many big companies and institutes doing work with this so hopeful its could be more popular in near future and we have many mature users

Probably around 20-35 I would say. A lot of young people don't know abuot bitcoin because bitcoin launched in 2008 and didn't really get any publicity after that, the generation that actually was there to witness 2008 when they are already adults are the bitcoiners today mainly.

If you are talking about countries, I would say forum wise, definitely a lot of asian users.

I'm 47 years old Smiley
So, as you see, Bitcoin is not only for young people.
But, I must confess, most bitcoin users, the ones I know, are much younger than me.
I'm sure that once Bitcoin becomes mainstream, we will see many more older generation here.
May be the most people who  use bitcoin are youth and the most new people is the same. So I think in the futue bitcoin will be used by young and old people.
Cool, I guess bitcoin is created for those who wish to use it. Well, maybe you have a job that has a lot of salary, and maybe this time bitcoin gives you extra money in each month. I guess I'll also be looking for bitcoin bitcoin was still there. may be the average of age of bitcoin users are mostly above 20 years
even my friends (of an age 18-20 years old) is not so interested in bitcoin and only 5% of all my friends who are interested in bitcoin,

In the Philippines, my country, the youngest bitcoin earning users I know ranges from 14 yrs old to 70 yrs old. These teenagers are the one who taught me how to use signature campaigns, they even earning thousand from trading.  I am catching up to them but they have already learned systematic and strategic ways in earning bitcoins, I am just a newbie and I hope to earn at least 1 to 2 btc monthly.

My vote goes to 22 - 30. Most bitcoin users are young people who have time for bitcoin world, people over 30 probably had between 22 and 30 when they started to earn bitcoins 7 years ago. I`m little over 30, but when I found out about bitcoins first time I had under 30.

I'd be even more specific and say the majority is between 28 and 35. When I first heard of Bitcoin I was around 30 and I know a number of people, who became interested in the subject at 25+, which makes them at least 28 right now. If you look at some known figures in the Bitcoin world like public speakers, programmers, owners and employees of mining companies, almost all of them are in their 30's.

Nothing from our arguments with the many reasons to said that how old average the user of bitcoin is. Because we only see from few aspect. There is no trusted database from bitcoin user because bitcoin is work anonymously. If the bitcoin is not work anonymously and should give a real identity maybe there will be a accurate results about how old average of bitcoin's user.
Obviously we are speculating since there is no way to even know the number of user of bitcoin let alone their ages, but I think we can reach the conclusion that an important part of members of the forum think the average bitcoin user is a young adult.

Bitcoin has no age restrictions unlike bank accounts but I think the average user cannot be too old since older people are too set in their ways but it cannot be too young either since you need to have some money to invest so my guess is wee are something between 22 and 37 years old.
i think the old people have the a good opportunity to invest, specially if they are retired from their jobsm, and setting free, i think they can give good time to bitcoin as compare to other people who are busy in their job.

The old people would have felt good, if they have known about it during the days of earning. So that they could have made a small investment regularly on bitcoin. This would have helped them with a added backing to spend and have a good time after the days of retiring.

Clearly, 22-30 is ahead by a good margin. It mainly indicates that major group of users are those who are adults as well as, maybe having a job and trying to make some extra money in trading, forex and gambling etc. It's good for the future of BTC also.  Smiley
