Thanks for the update. Can you please try to manually download and run the installer to upgrade to the latest development version?
Main application: https://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMiner.msi
Remote Agent: https://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi

I signed up just for the purpose of testing AwesomeMiner for Beam but I can't run the benchmark tools.

So far it seems to be working averaging 60 - 62 H/s using 8 1070's.
I'm also keeping in mind that we're pretty limited on pools and exchanges for Beam at the moment so I think we can expect some wrinkles.
Great start and I appreciate your hard work and dedication.

On my rig, each algo's intensity and OC settings are tuned to just below the edge of instability. Dropping v0.9.1 in pushed it over the edge. I will revisit it and see what tuning changes I need to make. If I have to lower the settings such that I get less hash rate with v0.9.1, then back to v0.8.9 I go.

...jim

Got it working nicely now. I had to adjust my GPU OC settings slightly down on most algos. But hash rates are better on some algos, and about the same on the rest.

Hi,

I'm trying to update from 6.0.9 to 6.0.10 but it fails everytime.
Here is the log

Hi. Can you please try to reboot the system once? It's not too uncommon that pending Windows Updates are preventing MSI-based installers from running correctly.

Thx for support, I had a pending update, I rebooted twice but still the same issue, even with the 6.0.11 version.  Sad

Hello @patrike another easy and useful suggestion.

I usually make measurements of how much a coin / pool yields. With which in the end I get a profit to vary in the currency pool in AM, I have from 0.80 to 1.30.

In the Miners tab, this is correctly reflected, the profit that shows is the one that estimates AM + my profit correction of the currency pool.

But in the Coins tab it does not reflect. If a two coins have a gain of 0.0020 but one has a profit of 0.80 and another of 1.10, it should show 0.0016 and the other 0.0022. In this way, by ordering the coins for profit, it will do so in a correct manner. Because in Coins it shows the profitability without modifying the profit stipulated by me. And sometimes it drives me crazy. Why does it change to this currency and not to this one? Sometimes it changes to the fourth most profitable currency instead of the third, and the reason is that it auto swicth if it is taken into account, but it is not shown in Coins. I hope it is understandable and that you see it logical, because for me it is.
You have a Profit Factor setting for both a Pool and a Coin. I assume you ask about the Profit Factor for the Pool (please correct me if I misunderstood your question)?

The setting for the Coin is used by both the Coins tab and the Miners tab.

The setting for the Pool is only used on the Miners tab, not the Coins tab. The reason is that you can have two pools for the same coin, and these two pools can have different Profit Factors. For that reason it's not possible to say that the coin has a certain profit factor as it will depend on which of these pools you are actually mining on.

I understand you but I do not share it. Suppose I have 2 groups for the same currency, something that would be very strange. With having in the pool configuration a box to mark, that is type.

Use this "profit" in coins, and do not mark it in the other group, the problem is already solved.

That it helps me to be getting the "profits" measured by hours of different currencies / pools, if then this is not reflected in Coins. In coins tells me how much I will get according to my hash, but that does not take into account my deviation from the "profit" 0.9 - 1.1 and even from 0.7 to 1.3 I work a lot. Then it does not make much sense to see the coins tab, because it does not take into account this information.

If I have several Pools for a coin, only one should be marked "use this profit in coins", I do not see it difficult.

Well, they are only suggestions in good faith.
I will have to think about this a bit more. Right now the Coins tab is only representing the coins and any profit factor on the coins. A coin is not linked to any pool - it's always the other way around and multiple pools can use the same coin.

Maybe there should be a new Pools tab in the future? That one could show information from a Pool point of view instead of Coins point of view.

release 0.9.1 (https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases/tag/0.9.1)
Add algos: x16rt (Veil), sha256q (Pyrite)
Minor performance improvements for x16r, bcd, x22i and other x16-like algorithms
 Multiple web monitoring page improvements
Switch between multiple config files dynamically (put your .config files into the miner directory)
   Dark theme
Linux watchdog is now available. Download at https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex-Watchdog/releases

Bug fixes:

cURL/SSL compatibility issue on newer Linux distros (Ubuntu 18, Debian 9)
Miner wouldn't start if NVML wasn't installed

Test this one carefully. I update to this version and started getting a lot of miner crashes. I did not change anything else. I have reverted back to 0.8.9 for now and will wait for the next release.

PAtrike can give us an url with the new t-rex 9.1, I do not trust other sources, so I can add custom.

Bookmark this page:

https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases

That is the official release page. Right click the release you wish to use and copy the link address. Paste that into the custom field in Awesome Miner. That will be the link AM uses once it is updated.

You can do the same for Cryptodredge whenever they post a new release, at:

https://github.com/technobyl/CryptoDredge/releases

Don't forget to set the custom Folder name inside Zip-file for CryptoDredge as well.

Hope that helps,
...jim

I know what can be done, but not with all the miners, there are some who keep differently in their tablets.

I have used as you said and it works correctly, thank you.

any possibility to add profitbotpro to statistic providers?

+1 would be fine, the more coin aggregators better. Since there is no native and effective way to add a currency to AM. Since AM CU the extension of moopiddoo does not work and correctmanete to not read well the Explorer.

Can we get support for Aeternity now that BMiner supports it.
Yes, there will be a new development version released soon. It will have BMiner 11.4 including CuckooCycle (Aeternity) and Equihash 150.5 (Beam) support.

need the "override config" like i can use at SRB also for JCE and other miners  Grin

I think this would make sense - to have a generic feature as well to be able to push any configuration file to any mining software. I will note your request. Thanks!

Hi there, I would like to ask is there a website or a step by step process on how to use the AWESOME miner? And what type of tokens that could be profitable other than the BTC?

Feature request please.

Antminer & Asic , in tools.

Default pools and update firmware. Please give us the option to retry failed miners.

Retry failed would be enough.

Ran into an issue where default pools would not update at all on some miners. Not sure why.

Can you make sure permissions are set to write on /config/bmminer.conf before ? Otherwise chmod it so it writeable ?

Can you please add an option to reset to factory defaults ?

Can you please add an option to clear config file upon firmware update. When you update a firmware into an asic, you have the choice to keep the original config or not.

Thanks a lot !

Hi

Due to problems with the modem, I needed a backup pool for my miner. I have not found how to do this in the Awesome miner settings. If this function is (T-rex) then help to implement it.

Now I have in the pool settings in the tab additionally registered additional pools for the reserve
