quick question - I have several Futurebit Apollo's and until recently they were all monitored by Awesomeminer - I did the latest update and got the "disconnected" message for my Futurebit miners - I tried quite a few things before I ended up removing the miner and then tried to re-add them - they use bfgminer, however when I try to do a network scan and attempt to select "miner type" there is no bfgminer - is support of monitoring the Futurebit miners no longer provided? or am I hopefully missing something here?
Bfgminer is hidden by default as it shouldn't have to be selected specifically. It should be possible to monitor ASIC miners with "ASIC Miner (Cgminer compatible)". You can still make Bfgminer visible via the Options dialog, Managed Software section. However, I don't think this will resolve the problem but please let me know your findings here.

Futurebit miners are still supported.

got it! and yes it did work when I selected "ASIC Miner (Cgminer compatible)" - I had stopped at that point though previously as I was looking for Bfgminer but now all good again - miners were added.

thank you.

hello,

after update whatsminer m32 to newest firmware, the hashrate is not shown correct (every time much higher than average)
and the power consumption cant be read / is not showing. same FW on m21s shows the power consumption

Can you please send me the API Report (via the toolbar: Tools -> API Report) for both these miners. I should be able to correct this quite fast with the reports. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to test if the mining pool works using Awesome Miner and I'm getting the `..retry after 30 seconds` error in the console. I've tried googling but didn't find anything helpful. As far as I understand, it connects to the pool successfully but fails to mine. I've tried running Awesome Miner as admin as well as with disabled antivirus and firewall but that didn't seem to help.

In the Awesome Miner logs, the only error I found was this one:

24/01/2022 17:42:27.830 [057] [E]Failed to download string from: https://api2.nicehash.com/main/api/v2/public/stats/global/current/

System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

Which is strange because this doesn't seem like something that would prevent mining. Mining pool port is open and telnet connects to it successfully. If anyone could help me figure out what's wrong, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Console output:

It looks like the pool configuration isn't correct and that you manually tried to add some command line arguments for it.

Please open the properties for your Managed Miner. Use the field "Pool" to define your mining pool and use Actions -> New Pool if you didn't define a pool already. Next go to the Command Line section and remove any custom parameters you added.

Hi Patrike, can you pls. improve Coin properties dialog window. Example:
For TONCOIN i can only get profitability in TONCOINS per GH/s daily, but at the moment profitability can only be set in BTC/GH/Day
If you improve this part of Coin properties, please add a possibility for dynamicaly price update for custom coin also.
Regards
Thanks for the feature suggestion.

If you define your own coin, it should be fully possible to go to the Coins tab, open the properties for the coin and then use the Dynamic update feature.

Good day

Is this feature compatible with the Canaan AvalonMiner 1166 Pro 81TH?

Thanks for your question. In the past the source was called "Antminer chip" but these days it's called "ASIC chip" and it works on Avalon as well.

Suddenly my miners stopped displaying temperatures for all but one cards in my rigs. How to fix that?

This is a configurable behavior. Please go to the Options dialog, Appearance section. Change the "Temperature display" setting to "All temperatures"

Good day

[/quote]
Hi,
The "Device Temperature" trigger should be possible to use in this case. The default value is 96 degrees because a device can also be a GPU when doing GPU mining, and they can run over 90 degree in some cases. For an Antminer, you are fully correct that the device temperature should trigger much earlier, and around 80 is probably a good idea.

Please note that you can also change "Temperature source" to "Antminer chip", if you want the trigger to look at the temperatures of the Antminer chips (instead of the PCB temperature). The chip temperatures are typically much higher, about 90 - 100 degrees. In the Summary tab in Awesome Miner, you can also see the current chip temperature.

The URL to download the latest TeamBlackMiner is incorrect. It should be:

I've set a custom URL for now.

Thanks!

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your report and I'm sorry for responding slow here. As you pointed out we was initially linking to a beta-version and the final download link was later changed. You might have noticed that we corrected this a few days ago and also released more recent versions after that.
