Hi Patrike, after applying of last miner software definition update, the linux ver. link was not updated. Especialy for GMiner. (AM 8.3.1) Regards
Hi.

Thanks for the feedback. I did push an update for Gminer on Linux yesterday.

Unfortunately still don´t work with HiveOn.
But what is that? There are also without function ....
It was added to this Profit Switching list by mistake, it wasn't intended to be included in this list and I will remove it in the next release. The idea is to simply detect if you are mining on this pool and it would provide the profitability. I will also make a correction to this feature in the next release.
Thanks for the info, do you still work on the implementation of HiveOn Pool? That will really nice to have!
Yes, can you please verify on v8.3.2?
Uhh, yes, it seems to be working. Smiley
But must wait for the profit switching!

Keep you updated!
@patrike
after few days, the profit switching seems to be working properly! Smiley
Thank you so much!

Another hint, Nicehash published recently warning about the using of popular PhoenixMiner, do you have more infomation about?
https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/stop-using-phoenix-miner-immediately
I´m a little bit worried about!

I have AM pro edition with 10 miners.
I use 9 miners, but, becouse of the 4gb GPU's, some miners I mine on the same RIG RVN and ETH (with the 8GB)

So, to control my rigs, i need to add 18 miners.

I only use AM to see the miner, and I want to know if you can make a kind of license that allows me to only see more miners (don't need the miner control functions). Becouse to upgrade my license is so expensive...

hi Some suggestions.

Benchmark: select and clean current data.

softwares mining: add factors(fee dev software) apply speed with factors in benchmarks and profitability.
Thanks for all great suggestions. They are noted.

@FlensGold:

Vegas can do 50-51 MH/s. But this is nothing for the AM-thread, because its an user error. If you have questions, ask in the TRM thread.

1) Get the 18.6.1 driver from https://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-ati-catalyst-vista-win-7.html
2) DDU your old drivers with https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and install the 18.6.1
3) Go to the TeamRedMiner thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-teamredminer-v01010-ironfishkaspazilkawpowetchash-and-more-5059817
4) Do every single step inside the vega guide in the folder and clock your cards the same as in my picture. Some Vegas can also run with just 0.90 V (which will drop the wattage below 200W), but you have to test this for every single card.
5) Thats all.

Hello,
Whatever region i select for nicehash, it always connect to nhmp-ssl.usa.nicehash.com:443....
Could you check this problem please ?
Thanks for the feedback. I assume you are running the Excavator mining software here? It's a bit of a special case and I will take care of this one as well.

Yes, you're right. I should have precise i use excavator.

Hey guys,
I am not sure if this is the right forum, but I hope you do not mind if it isn't.
Due to the exploding ETH prices I unpacked my old mining rig running awesome miner (at least this fits to the thread) and added 2 Sapphire Vega (56 + 64) GPUs and a Sapphire RX5700XT.
The 5700XT is running fine, but I do not get the Vegas hash for more that 10MH/s on ethmining. Does anyone have an idea what can be the reason for this?
I did not overclock them yet, although I would like to test this. But I would expect a bit higher hashrate even with default timings.
I would appreciate if someone has an idea or could push me into the right direction. The system is running on a Win10 professional machine using the latest Radeon Software.
Thanks and kind regards

@patrike: Keep up the good work. I just installed this software after 2 years of absence and it is looking great :-)
Welcome back and thanks for the nice feedback!

Vega should be able to do at least 40 MH/s although I've not been running any Vega GPUs myself recently. There are a number of mining software (Phoenix Miner, ...) that can mine Ethereum. Have you tested with several of them already and still get this result?

Tested it with Phoenix Miner and lolminer, both same result with 9/10 MH/s. No Idea what is going wrong here...

Is compute mode turned on in the driver for every card? Use teamred or lolminer and not this shitty phönixminer
Hello,
actually I am not sure about the compute mode. I can not find it in my radeon settings, no matter if I try latest drivers or 17.9.1.
I have been using google the last hour finding some tutorials for checking this, but for some reason I do not have that option where it should be.
Do you know a version where this option will be available?
BR

Edit:
Found this thread and was able to switch to compute mode with this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/tool-amd-compute-switcher-for-switch-automatically-to-compute-mode-2815803

Unfortunately the GPU is still running at 10MH/s. But when I try to apply GPU overclocking settings Awesome Miner returns "Failed to update the following hosts: localhost

I still appreciate any suggestions :-)
Kind regards

P.S.:
I have testing lolminer this morning, but got almost the same results

Hi Patrike, i have some suggestion for new Nicehash regions. Maybe its a good idea to add a region override function to the miner object level. In my case i have rigs on different location and choosing only one region is not a best selection.

Regards.
Thanks for the suggestion. Although I agree that it can make sense if you have a really distributed mining setup, I don't think it's that common among users to have their miners spread out across large areas.
