I updated the firmware and don't see any difference....

EDIT: My X10 no longer works after the update. I can communicate to it via the Baikal control panel and configure pools, but the miner is always 'DOWN.'

some people already updated succesfuly and they are already runing on nist5

mine same problem, my X10 bricked with newfirmware when start change new algos. it seems firmware is broken. becareful. Tongue

What size and format exactly is the SD card in the X10?

I would like to go the safty way and buy new cards and add the new firmware there and not overwrite the old ones to in case something gets wrong i have still the old firmware at least?

I remember they are 4GB, not, but what format exactly?

But there is no autoexchange so I am using Bittrex to get BTC.

About your problem, if your XVG wallet doesn't sync, try to download the nightly shapshot:

You will find the whole blockchain.
Backup your wallet, close qt, download and install that archive, restore your wallet (if needed, if you didn't delete wallet.dat you could skip this step) and you should be ok.
At least, it worked for me.

You're looking at verge which has been having some network issues. So im not sure if thats valid but someone else with more info should answer.
