Hello,

I've downloaded Windows GUI wallet and bought some from poloniex. Does anyone can inform me about these:
- solo mining: is it ok to do solo with laptop (i7 with nvidia card)?
- how to set poloniex API for the GUI Wallet? i have copied my API from poloniex but have no idea where to add those.

Really appreciate for any helps.

Regards.

If the video card memory bigger than 256 mb, and using extra cooling effort, I think it will work fine. My tips, start your solomine when nethash dropping, it will give you more chance hitting blocks.

Ok, so I cloned the git repo, and compiled boolberry. When I fire up the daemon and start the simplewallet, I get the following error:

Code:
twiggy@mintsy ~/Wallets/Boolberry $ ./simplewallet
Boolberry wallet v0.3.0.41(4d57523)
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl >'
what():  boost::bad_any_cast: failed conversion using boost::any_cast
Aborted
twiggy@mintsy ~/Wallets/Boolberry $

I'm using Linux Mint 17 XFCE

Any ideas as to why this occurs?

There is somewhere in this thread mention about boost version 1.54 didnt work, check the boost version that suppose to work is 1.53

i have test this solution :  This miner is for pool mining https://github.com/mbkuperman/cpuminer-multi-opencl/releases

Yes you are mining.  You can put your address into the field on the home page of the pool and lookup your statistics.

i have run BBR and i have this message:  Status: Failed to initialize core
it is strange before i have not problem synchronization

The blockchain might be corrupted.  Did you shut down BBR daemon with the "exit" command last time it was closed?

If you're using windows rename the boolb directory in c:/users/yourusername/appdata/roaming to something like boolbold and relaunch the open-cl miner.  If it loads up and starts mining you can safely delete the old folder containing the blockchain.

On linux the directory would be .boolb
i use windows
i have deleted boolbold and now all work
just i wait finish download blockchain
Thank you

hi
what is the best pool for BBR?
Thanks.

With the difficulty as low as it is solo mining is a good way to mine.  Just the other day I hit two blocks in an hour using MBK's open_cl miner on a laptop with an Nvidia card in it.  A few days before that I hit eight blocks in about five hours on a box with two R9 280's.  Then I went hours without anything. But then I hit a bunch more blocks.  If you're going to pool mine I would use MBK's http://bbr.mbkpool.info/ to help spread the hash and because they have contributed the open source open_cl miner.

This miner is for solo mining https://github.com/mbkuperman/boolberry-opencl/releases  It requires you to download the Boolberry blockchain.

This miner is for pool mining https://github.com/mbkuperman/cpuminer-multi-opencl/releases.  Just configure with your address and start mining to one of the pools listed in the ANN
Thanks!  Wink

Where can I go to find the boolberry hashrate both current and historical?

There is a stats page at http://boolberry.com/state.html but it is currently not working.  It has current stats when it's working.  Chainradar http://chainradar.com/bbr/chart has current and historical charts.

Just started solo mining. Why do you find shares for solo mining? Haven't found a block yet but have like 34 shares, just not understanding why it shows that. Just to show you that miner is actually working?

I don't know why it shows the shares that don't find a block. But at least you know you're mining.

When you find a block you'll get a line immediately after the share that found it like this:

2015-Aug-21 09:27:23.852124 [miner 0]Share found 239790212, <28d3b69656cc4e619bb925a308c99ae3f43bf17265f07e1ea30e903000000000>

I downloaded the wallet and it syncs very fast. I have heard that CryptoNote has a large blockchain. How is this possible? Is it a SPV wallet?

If so what are the advantages/disadvantages?

2 times less blocks in blockchain at least.

Zoidberg

Thank you!  I love Boolberry. I really should buy some more.

Which exchange does everyone prefer? Is it best to go with the one with the highest average volume (poloniex) or distribute trading more equally across all exchanges?
