is this coin ASIC proof ?

As per the OP (highlighted in red):

Boolberry Compared to Bitcoin
In comparison to Bitcoin forks, Boolberry is developed on newer CryptoNote technology, making it of more flexible architecture. The main benefit of CryptoNote technology is anonymity of the sender and recipient along with transaction unlinkability. This provides great protection to user's privacy which is highly important today.

Boolberry benefits:
  • Ring Signature based cryptography, which ensures new level of privacy, anonymity and unlinkability
  • Separate Wallet and Daemon provide and additional level of security and cloud compatibility
  • Flexible RPC-like network protocol with forward and backward capability provides ability to extend network interaction format quickly and painlessly.
  • New ASIC-Resistant Hash algorithm named Wild Keccack takes the SHA3 Keccak to a higher level.

Boolberry Compared to CryptoNote
Boolberry was designed from the beginning to address several issues with Ordinary CryptoNote coins such incomplete anonymity and block chain bloat.
  • Unlinkable outputs ensures the user's anonymity is not broken due to zero mixin usage.
  • Transaction identification by prefix allows Boolberry to cut ring signatures from block chain reducing block chain size by 60-90%, depending on mixin usage.
  • Removed Dust from block reward to reduce block chain size even more.
  • New block chain based PoW hash provides faster synchronization with network and immunity from DoS attacks.
  • Network Alerts allow developers to broadcast messages about critical updates or other important events to the network
  • Donation-based crowd-funding: Boolberry has an open and transparent model of project financing with a maximum of 1% of mined coins reserved for project development. The actual rate is controlled by network participants (miners) using votes. Boolberry gives a fixed percentage to the CryptoNote founders.
  • Wallet address aliasing: any wallet can be linked with symbolic name via special type extra record in coinbase. Block chain will control registered names uniqueness.
  • More rational emission curve

Bump for BBR. Smiley

Boolberry is a good cryptonote coin, with or without Supernet. It had a fair launch and implements some original ideas not used in other cryptonote coins (its not just a clone).

Monero clearly has more developers working on their project and more supporting services. However with a market cap less than 1/40th of XMR an official GUI and some original features (related to database size and mixin levels), I like the risk/reward ratio for BBR.

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/

Good choice, makes sense for anyone holding XMR to invest in a bucket load of BBR (given it's clearly under-valued & is the most innovative Cryptonote coin).

And vice versa, anyone invested in BBR should hedge with a few XMR also.  Wink

If you can choose only one cryptonote coin, which one will you choose?

Guys, if you want something to happen, do it yourself.

Fork BBR and do something useful with it, everybody here will follow you, given that Futurama dev is now gone for 1000 years.

Hedging sounds smart to me. Monero community may be far ahead but there are risks (see recent posts about trademark battle with moneero)

I wish cryptozoidberg would say "hello folk" and then tell us something new

Lack of ANC github activity has caused me to lose hope of any Zerocoin implementation. CryptoNote exists, the future is now. #XMR #BBR

Bter Support (bter)

Jun 25, 10:25

Dear Sir,
We are still trying to fix it.

Thanks for your patience

Speaking of exchanges... I've been trying to withdraw some BBR from Bter for the last three weeks.

Has anyone else had issues withdrawing BBR from Bter?

They are saying that "the bbr block doesn't update." Anyone aware of this issue?  Huh

Yes, my deposit is missing since 2015-05-29. I sent BBR to the correct address and added the payment id but the deposit is not credited until today.

This is the only reply from bter.com

Our dev will check and fix it for you. Please do not worry.

:-(

It would be nice to get an update on this. XMR has done some recent work to integrate the payment ID with the address.  Perhaps that would make things easier for existing and hopefully new exchanges.

I cant comment on this case without knowing more because I have not used Bter

Boolberry is working fine on other exchanges

Bter should ask if they need help with something. Can you ask them for more specifics?

BBR to XMR is just like Litecoin to Bitcoin... a never ending story :-)

I still do like BBR. Just the name is odd Cheesy

I like the name Boolberry.

When Google came out people thought its name was odd and Yahoo was a normal name. Now everyone thinks Google is a normal name and says "Google abc" or Google xyz"

If development continues and merchants adapt Boolberry I don't think the name will be a long term concern at all.

Boolberry is a good name IMO. Also its working on Bittrex.

Great coin, innovative coin. I just wish more people knew about it

Dev is working on another coin at the moment.

So is bbr dead now officially?

No, BBR is alive and well. I've been in touch with CZ recently, and he is actively working on BBR: e.g. https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/tree/db

Lui is nothing new, CZ announced he'd be working on that 6 months ago - hence the BBR hiatus.

Lui is POS, BBR is POW - so the two can co-exist. In fact, IMO, the Lui proposition is only strengthened by a strong BBR (given they're both created by the same Dev).

It's in no-one's interest to see BBR dead (not even it's competitors!).

What BBR does need is more active engagement from it's users. To that end I'm working on a couple of things ('offline' commitments permitting)...

Great to hear! In fact, I remembered my old wallet I used to have when mining BBR... Not touched in more than a year, can't even recall how many coins I have  Embarrassed I never understood why BBR never took off with all the fine technology.

I am excited to see what comes next. Lui project may lead to some good ideas for CZ to use in BBR
