True, some currencies in crypto really have a higher than normal fee. Take WLD for example. Sending WLD in the normal world requires a fee worth 1-5cent normally. At BC though it costs 1 WLD, which is like 5-6$.
I think mostly for the unpopular coins the fees are high, with something like LTC, DOGE, XRP and so on, also BTC, it's ok in my opinion.

Crypto casinos are a business. If they face fees for conversion and other things of course they will charge the player for it.
