Either the pitch was not that good for batters or CSK bowlers bowled quite well. Most KKR batters got out trying hit boundaries. CSK fielding was quite better than thier counterpart. Some catches were really good and a few failed efforts were better than earlier.
Definitely there is something on the pitch that held and spin almost like the traditional chepauk pitch and that's why Jaddu came into the play after the powerplay and almost choked KKR's middle order. Whereas the unexpected package came from Tushar Desphande who took wicket in the very first ball and picked two remaining wickets and he made it look like absence of Pathirana will not be a worrying sign.

What you are saying is correct: these guys won because of bowling. Which according to my understanding was prism perfect accompanied with their fielding. But, the question is was the pitch a factor or the bowlers? Without a pitch and the conditions, bowlers are not that good. CSK for the first time won the toss but opted to bowl first which suggests that the pitch could be one of the reasons.
