Apart from RCB everyone has their own fate of getting into top 4 in their hands. And RCB might have an outside chance of they win their remaining 4 matches with great NRR and other team results might favour them.

My top 4 as of now, RR, SRH, KKR and CSK.

CSK vs SRH is live at the moment, probably the deciding match of their playoff chances.

CSK started slow, and I don't know why Rahane is still given chance when he is clearly not in the form not just in IPL ever since Ranchi.

You were right about RCB winning with the help of Kohli in chasing a big total. It is now evident that the pitch curators are making it easier for the batsmen to score big runs by ensuring perfect timing of the ball, resulting in frequent boundaries. However, Kohli seemed to be more focused on holding his orange cap as the top run-scorer rather than contributing towards the team's victory. It was disappointing to see him play a mediocre innings and only aim for another half-century to add to his records.

Another 200+ target and now it looks like it has become common in IPL 2024 to get those runs. As expected Sai Sudarshan has been consistent this year with his batting, I never expected Shahrukh Khan to bat so well. I am assuming he might be another all-rounder in the making, again the age that these guys are in does not look like they will be playing much longer. He is already 28 years old another 10 years max if he stays fit like a few players we have in the Indian team.

RCB is batting now and I hope Virat goes on the demolition mode if he wants his team to come up on the point table. They should end up in a decent position on the point table as they are in the bottom and before the playoffs. The most important question is that can RCB win 2 in a row?

Seeing 250+ score can be entertaining but what can be the dramatic thriller is defending 160.

Yeah, technically they have already qualified for the playoffs. Sanju Samson was incredible yesterday and not to forget Jurel was their to support him. I think the impact player rule should be removed and the curators should start working on good pitches. It is becoming monotonous now with the ease these batters are going after the bowlers.

Apart from the Indian Premier League (IPL), I have not watched any other franchise league because I am least interested in them since they are nothing like the IPL. However, it is good to see a young talent like him tearing apart those bowlers. He is undoubtedly a great discovery for the Delhi Capitals, but how long he will remain a part of the team is questionable. I recall Shane Watson being noticed by the Australian Cricket Board after he played similarly in the IPL. There are others as well, but this young player, with his abilities, will undoubtedly secure his spot in the Australian team if he continues to bat in the same way.

Another 250+ score and in this season scoring 200 becomes a joke.

The man Jake Fraser-McGurk looking like the most destructive players of this season so far I have watched even better than SRH players. MI is going for another heartbreak because they already lost two early wickets and this isn't a good sign when you are chasing a record total.

Jaiswal: Before the IPL He was in hot form but didn't look good in the first leg of IPL. IMO for the opening slot, he's still a safe bet when compared to other options. Also, I'd like Abhishek Sharma (SRH) as a backup opener.

Mayan Yadav: He can provide an X-factor to this Indian bowling lineup and could be a game-changer but his fitness is a big problem. Still, I won't mind if he's in the squad. Just use him tactically, for ex: against only top teams or possibly 1 group match and then save his strength for Knockouts.

But that seems, like an impossible task, as RCB only seems to perform well when Kohli is playing at his best. Sanjay Manjerekar and the Chief selector (Agarkar) are being proven correct with their concerns over Kohli's T20 performances as in the SR. If you take a look at the attached image, it's clear you will find the reason, why he's not suitable for T20 cricket. If BCCI still selects him, we may not see another T20WC cup this year.
