No, it shouldn't end there.
You should keep our eyes open and make us pay attention. My question here is, the fake date on the blockchain does it make the network insecure?
I mined some bytecoin, and lost more than 80% of it trading I didn't take it serious just interested in the technology. If these guys are greedy when they pre-mined the coin they lost a good amount of it already. So my concern now, is it secure?? that is what I want to hear you guys discussing You have more knowledge than I do about this coin.
The whole point in the discussion of this coin, is that the series of deviant fakes, lies, and especially the alleged premine
1. Makes your pocket, finances insecure
2. Makes others' pockets, finances insecure if you shill them this coin without notifying publicly of the alleged scam.
Almost no one discusses this coin merely for its cryptonote tech, because there is the "buying and selling" factor attached to it. And it is here where the problem lies.
The cryptonote tech can be fine, but if the buying of the coin may financially ruin you and your family (making rich the owners of the premine, and maybe, to a small degree, a few consciousless scammy miners), will you take a huge interest in buying the coin?
Consider the following: if you have misappropriated some goods, they can be fine goods, but they have been misappropriated, and so your trading them is trading with the misappropriated goods.
The alleged premine and so the alleged attempts to hide the fact, is, so to say, the missapropriation of the coin on the part of the developers, because now they are in the possesions of the most of the bcn stock, and so they may choose at any time of bcn's rise to shill you these coins, and because they keep billions of those, and your finances are insecure, because the bcn's price after the dump of any portion of the premine by its owners, will always be going down at the whim of the owners.
Bear in mind that these guys built this tech and share it. I hope they benefit. Again keep us aware of that danger. That same danger exist in bitcoin, I read and hear where persons are asking for Nakamoto to publicly burn his coins to remove that uncertainty. While you keep that in our mind (you will always get a thanks from me, some of us need to be constantly reminded) encourage persons with the skills to dig in the code and find out if there is malicious codes in it to rat us out, or steel our coins.
Another, thing be nice guys, make your point without being abusive.
