So, by my fag packet calculations there are around 100 billion coins already in existence? I've assumed a 200,000 coin per block average based on what I see in the explorer......

Not sure about the amount of coins because each block reward is different, however the chain is 1.8 years old and was only announced 9 weeks ago.

Yeah, it's not great is it? I think this will handicap the coin beyond recovery.

Oh well, on to the next......

Yes, the new cpuminer-multi. However, it seems like the pool is showing the hash rate incorrectly. Now cpuminer shows that I have 152 h/s, when the pool is showing just 29 h/s (used to be 350 for some time).

the devs are working on this issue, it has to do with Longpolling not the pool

I don't know 100% if simpleminer from Monero will work, but it probably will.

There is a cpuminer fork with the cryptonight support at

https://github.com/LucasJones/cpuminer-multi

It may be slightly more optimized than simpleminer, but the differences are probably small and depend on hardware.

Of course. It's running and synchronized.

Did you run any other CryptoNote coin?
Try relaunching the daemon and if doesn't help, reboot your system. This might work.
