If you take it too serious, you cant afford the negative outcome (the worst can be the same as OP' story)

There is a simple way to be a responsible gambler: Set your daily limit. Ex: you will only gamble 20$ a day and stop when you lose $20

Everybody knows the daily limit but from saying it to implementing it is a huge gap.Many people can't stick to it although they set a daily limit.They get mad when they lose this limit and say I just want to hit a few more spins and quit but this leads them to losing everything.

just be responsible in gambling you just can't spend everything on gambling. remember that there are millionaires that actually turned their lives as miserable homeless because they spend it all. some men just don't know when to stop. showing off pays.

This is what addiction can bring , Losing everything that you hard earned and sometimes even Losing your family's and friends because of becoming addicted and changing personality and attitude.

Such people find it difficult to identify problems because their character is more reserved, aloof and has no friends or close people and only chooses to take risks on their own and when there is no way out and it cannot be controlled choose to end life.

That's not always the case. I know plenty of gambling addicts that have a normal life, family, kids, surrounded by loved ones and friends, they're definitely not alone, it's just a way to have something that gives thrills.
Moreover, it is commonly thought that gamblers are people that have nothing better to do, no serious career, and so on, but I've found that not to be true. Sometimes people with ambition and goal commitment are even more susceptible to addiction, because of their willingness to make things go their way, to push the matter through, etc.

There isn’t really such a thing as responsible gambling. It’s a bit of an oxymoron. It’s ok to be irresponsible sometimes and throw money away on entertainment but thinking it’s in any way some sort of responsible activity is something I can’t get on board with. Again, not necessarily a bad thing to gamble, but responsible isn’t an adjective I’d use to describe it.

Some are bothered to think about winning the jackpot. I can't imagine some people would commit huge debt for this and lose them all. That is how desperate they are aiming for the prize and that could badly turns them to poor after all.
