Yes, it is very important to understand that gambling is not a job or a business, it is entertainment.  Of course, there are professional poker players, but that's a completely different story ...

You also need to avoid loans and credits and play only with your own money.  If you do not have a job, then you need to look for it, this is the stage in your life that cannot be avoided.  Subsequently, after a while, you can already think about starting a business and gambling.

Gambling addiction is a disease and must be treated.

For example, one addiction can be replaced by another emotional addiction.  At the same time, both addictions will weaken and will not greatly affect your life.
Maybe that is the issue. Because there are professional poker players people believe that they can achieve the same by just playing. Nobody told them that most poker players make the most out from ads and not from playing poker. The good old times are dead in my opinion.

Important Note : If you're jobless don't get into gambling, I'm an example. I don't have a job, and that's the reason I wasn't able to keep me deviated from gambling. Hope this helps someone.

People who have a bad luck, always have good luck in the future. That's what I want to share from my case also. Just make your ways as far as possible from any negative behaviour to be close with good luck and that will have a follow through on your habituation.

Everytime you have a negative behavior in your life, see it as a gift, because every negative action will put you closer to a better opportunity.

Becoming a success means becoming a better version of yourself. Every action you do, you're going to get a better result and it means you'll attract better outcomes into your life.

Gambling is always a game of luck, so if you realised you have a consecutive lost with it. Then always remind your self to take a break dont force it. Because you will end up in a worst situation, wherein if you're always thinking for the positive outcome even despite, the results of your gameplay are all negative..

Respect your self.. And always gamble what amount you can afford to lose, don't force the situation and stop exceeding in your limits  because it can cause more trouble.. Just have fun while gambling.. don't take it seriously.. And remember that if it's not your lucky day, it will never be your lucky day, and you can't change it especially when it come on this kind of business . So better luck next time and always take a break to avoid further losses . . Peace..

That is the risk from gambling, in a short or long time and we never know when that will happen to us. When we borrow the money, we must not use it for gambling because our chance to grow the money will not be too big. But you already did that and you lose that money, and even you have a big amount of debt.

The lesson here is never taking a loan for just playing gambling, even if you are jobless or have a job because that will take you in the worst situations that you will hard to repay that loan. If you want to gamble, you only need to use free money that you can afford to lose so anything that will happen to you, you are ready to accept and will not try to recover that losing money.

I agree with you that we all should be responsible gamblers and only use the money we are able to lose. If we need to money for other things than we shouldn't gamble with it, winning is not a guarantee in gambling. Casinos are businesses that operate to make money for them self. If they aren't profitable then they are going to close down. While for some people gambling is just leisure and a way to relax in the evening, there are others who want to make money with gambling. There are strategies out there that can help us, but in the end not everybody can be winning. There will always be some who win and some who lose.

I'm sorry to hear about your story, Op but losing money isn't a reason enough to end your life. Gambling is a risky journey and if you'll get really into it, you'll lose everything in just a short period. I think it's already a lesson learned for you but it isn't late for you to fix your life. Try to grind harder in all the opportunities that crypto could offer so you could pay your debts. Most of us have experienced losing money because of gambling but there's always a chance to begin again.

Sorry to hear about your losses and glad to hear that you've finally figured it out after hitting rock bottom. It is the best way to learn really - to go through it yourself and you could consider it to be an expensive lesson rather than a total waste. That may be what you need to heal properly. Have you looked into filing for bankruptcy? It really depends what country you are in and how it works where you live, some countries like the UK it takes 6 years and you will be able to start with a clean slate financially. The best route out is to pay the debt off, however if you are jobless then that might be impossible. Definitely start looking for work and with time it will fix everything.

In minutes, you've lost a lot. That's insane. I was even feeling bad when I've sold bitcoins too early but I still got the cash but yours is worse. Thank you for sharing your experience and this will serve as a warning for others that can't control themselves. You've learned the lesson in an expensive way but I'm sure that you'll be able to pay your debt and you only have to focus with your goal and don't accompany it with gambling.

Gambling is really risky and certainly not a profit making opportunity. If the OP would have kept $2500 in the trading platform, he might have gained some good profit in trading and eventually covered his debt, but instead he opted for a short cut way of gambling which was way to risky. Feel sorry for him. Everyone should learn some lesson from his bad experience in gambling.

I do agree with being a wise spender especially when it comes to gambling. Always know your limit and control yourself and know when to stop because you might end up in debt just like you were experiencing. Take it a lesson and learn from it, and yes I don’t think it is a good idea to gamble when you don’t have a job. Work something out or where you are good at and make money out of it to pay slowly your debts. And take some time off gambling too, because not everyone has luck when it comes to that.

You are not alone with this kind of problem and lots of people are currently going your way if they don't know when to stop when they lose big time. Most of the time greed will push you to lose your savings and to lose yourself at once. If people know how to completely control this thing, it would have been easy for all of us. But unfortunately, when you are there, seeing all the hype and the way they attract people is really a hard thing to resist. That's why if you really want to end up like the OP, you should stay away in the first place. As for the OP, things will get better soon just don't you ever go back to make things easy, because that would not go as you plan if you play once more.

this is the story that you wouldn't want to happen to you but it did. when you just gamble a few, you wouldn't mind it but you regret after when you already lose a sum. it already happened so you learned a lesson.

ending your life won't solve anything. remember your friend who gave you loan seems very generous for he trusted you. and i can say if he trusted you that much, you must be a good person. there are probably lots of people who love you.

Sorry for your story man, gambling is not a guaranteed profitable activity, it is only an entertainment area !! I advise you to stay away from gambling activities and try to find work. Make a plan for your life again. Don't think about getting more loans, but try to count on yourself and work hard.

I have debt of $35000. Myself saved $2500 in BTC on an exchange with the plan of trading. My mind wavered it takes time to make money out of trading. Myself deposited into a gambling platform. Started to gamble. Within few minutes it all got emptied.
You've loss $2500 in few minutes? What kind of Gambling are you doing? I can't imagine losing that money in just a minute.
I didn't finish reading the whole context of this thread because its all about borrowing money and losing that money in gambling, you're in a big trouble for not controlling yourself and you have the wrong mindset when it comes to gambling.

We all have to be more responsible, if you can't afford gambling then there's no need to borrow money just look for other ways to have fun like playing online games without the need of spending money. I'm a gambler but I will never borrow money just to use it as my capital in gambling, that's a big trap.

That's quite a big loss. In the first place, you shouldn't really have gambled with money that you borrowed from someone. The $2500 one is still okay, that was your savings (not really since you have a debt, but oh well), but the rest were borrowed from others and shouldn't really be spent willy nilly like that.
Important Note : If you're jobless don't get into gambling, I'm an example. I don't have a job, and that's the reason I wasn't able to keep me deviated from gambling. Hope this helps someone.
Even if it wasn't a job, maybe a hobby, or a game. Just do something, one that could distract you from gambling. I'm pretty sure a $20 game is more than enough of a tradeoff from a $1000 loss in gambling. There are also those mecha figurines that cost a fortune, but hey, that's a LOT better than gambling money. Not saying that it's bad, but it shouldn't be the main hobby for someone. Just a side thing you go to every now and then.

Although the loss of mine was not big as yours at least I know how's the feel of it. I'm not denying the fact of the thought to end the life when in such situation since I experienced it as well and I know such kind of thought was useless. Cannot manage ourselves while gambling is quite commons but you really did a big mistake by gamble with loan funds. It's really an expensive lesson, I hope you never doing the same mistake as now next time. Cheer up mate, the journey is not over yet. Enjoy your break time.

P.s. gamble with money that you can afford to lose and don't ever take a loan for gambling activities

Bro, you have to work this out, I know you can. If you feel like you're getting addicted to gambling, which I feel like you are no offense meant, you should probably seek professional help. Probably admit yourself to a rehabilitation center where they can help you cure or alleviate at the very least these urges to gamble. Once you're out, find a job, pay your debts little by little and before you know it. You're back on track. The fact that you put yourself in this situation means that you too can get yourself out of it, just have trust in your abilities man, and whatever money you got now, don't gamble it.

A few years back, I also committed the same mistake of losing big but it was not from any loan, but my own saved money. I was a tipster myself but stopped tipping as well as gambling for more than 4-5 years after which I touched gambling again. But I have learned discipline in these years and know that it is not like there is no tomorrow, so I can control my emotions and make my mind free from gambling whenever I want now.

Well, if you are gambling to chase money, to chase your losses, and the most point when comes is borrowing money just to chase your loss --gambling is not meant for you. Gambling is just entertainment that you will perhaps enjoy or if you want to kill your time while waiting for someone, gambling is the best way to hang out not to think this is a source of income. The golden rule is [Gamble only of what you can afford, win or lose] very important to remember, I can't even risk my own earning in gambling, I gambled sometime but when I was bored or just trying my luck and hoping that my fund will double but with a limited amount only that only I can afford.
However, this is a sad story of yours, thank you for sharing and the warning.
