Out of the entire list, I'll totally agree with you on ETH. You're mentioning in the brackets some coins as "near future potential".. try not to focus on the near term but focus on the long term potential of each curerncy. From what you've listed the most promising, as already mentioned in ETH. ETH has by far the biggest community and the highest adoption from developers of all sorts of industries. It's protocol ER20 standard has been fairly adopted by now and everyone is using it. I believe still, that ETH is very undervalued at thirty billion, when you have BTC sitting at around a hudred billion. It will definitely get some market share both in the short and long term, but I'm most excited about the long term potential, in a couple of years we'll be looking back and "laugh" about the current prices, because the market will have grown so much that it will look like BTC is trading at ten dollars.
To me the best altcoin to invest now is eth as the price now is somehow having dips so it's really a good buy now and just wait to have some pumps and wait for profit taking.

A lot of people said that they are seeing a good potential in waves and stratis. The price is not high at all, and you can get a good profit in some time.
Maybe the price is not to high but theirs a good profit at the end of this year. Waves have great support and are currently at good price.we can be stable in a good price than the high one but not all the time. And I strongly believe that waves are going to beat even eth by a great margin.most of the people i know are prefer for waves because they feel better among others not.
For me, most altcoins have a low price now after hard folk. And I think ETH, LTC, Monero are good coins to invest. In addition, you can choose new tokens from ICOs to invest such as LIVE token of Livestar project. 
Ethereum, the best choice of everyone here, i find myself more comfortable and sure when i invest in bitcoin and ethereum.
Ethereum deserves a place in any investment portfolio however smaller cap coins/tokens of course are the ones to watch if you want to make bank.

I think eth is the best, Ethereum has a uniqueness that makes it different from other altcoin. Basically, the ETH bearing currency is a software platform that can be coded by itself and activated through the blockchain system by its developers. "Processing power" from the developer's software is then sold and paid with ether, or Bitcoin-like currency.
ETH, NEO, STRAT. anyone who invest in these altcoin will only say one things. -these coin are best in altcoin market
ETH for long term.

In long-term of course it is better to hold Bitcoin and Etherium. But also I would buy IOTA, ARDR, LMC, SC and DGB.
ICN fucked up already. If I have to really add some tokens in my investment portfolio, it would be NEO and SNM. This is one way to earn straight up after just a year. ETH is always going to be the top priority to keep.

Investing in a strong altcoin, better than taking higher risk. ETH clearly a very powerful and handy altcoin and can be expected to provide significant returns in the future. As it is currently experiencing btc. Eth popularity has been to shift existence of ltc and doge.
