I will select the coin that struggles a lot this year, and that is ETH because it will likely to bring good return to investors once it recovers and pump.
Though this is just a speculation and there is no assurance I will see ETH being the best next year, but I have so much belief on the coin that is one of the major reasons for the bull run last 2017.

Bitcoin will still be up there for me. In as much as potentially successful coins are cropping up, Bitcoin still leads. Ethereum is also one to go with. It might not have gone up as many expect, but I think it will in the coming year(s). This two are still my best. Litecoin, ripple, and some other altcoins will go up too. But i think that will be dependent on how Bitcoin moves.

it looks like in 2020 it will be more interesting because the growth platform of altcoin is currently developing a lot, if the market in 2020 will be a good trend then altcoin will be more competitive. but I personally believe that ripple, ethereum and bnb can compete strongly in the market next year

Same here. I stick to my old choices of altcoins. Ethereum is of course on the top of my list. Many are saying negative things about Ethereum. But after Bitcoin, is there any other altcoin that comes better than Ethereum? I would say there is none. I will not even count those altcoins that are claiming to be better than Bitcoin but cannot even make it to the top 100. Aside from Ethereum, there is always Monero, Litecoin, and Waves.

BNB Coin could be a good choice in 2020. With DEX already running, I think investor confidence will continue to grow and in my opinion, BNB Coin prices have the potential to go to $ 50- $ 100

Honestly I no longer believe in blockchain’s application outside of it being used for cryptocurrencies, and when it comes to this, Bitcoin is still king. Other altcoins that are trying to gain mainstream adoption as a currency have potential, specially if they have what it takes to push back Bitcoin. ETH seemed to have that ability. they are upgrading blockchain to PoS with Sharding, and solving scalability issues. NEO is another option because people are referring NEO as the Ethereum of China with a global development, and Chinese will start investing in the projects that they own it.
Alongside the ETH and NEO, i think that in 2020 some of the smaller altcoins that offer a working product desirable from people will most likely make 50x-100x easy. But it will be very hard to find out exactly which one will do that on exchanges like Binance, Kraken and Kucoin, without doing a fundamental analysis and evaluating risk and reward ratio.

not by a long shot!both are centralized and terrible projects. the only thing they have bigger than others is their market capitalization and advertisers otherwise the best pumped altcoin of 2017 have been a lot of other coins that had a much bigger return than these two coins.

that is because the bigger a pumped coin is the slower its dumping is going to be. for example for those two shitcoins since they were huge, their dumping took 2 years and it is not yet ended.but all those smaller coins that got pumped even bigger, they got dumped fast and reached bottom and have been pumping all through 2018 and 2019.

historically whenever an altcoin is pumped so many times, it reaches a time where it can no longer be pumped. these coins are like that at this point. they will see pumps but they will be a very small portion of what they used to be pumped. 
I would say ETH is still current best for investors because they have a lot upcoming big events in 2020 and i'm sure the future of ETH is bright.
I'm gonna also add XLM has a great time in 2020 and we have to invest now because the price is still cheap and the transaction speed is great, transaction can be done in seconds with also very low fee. It is still Ethereum because they are going to launch ETH 2.0 that solves their scalability issue and transition to POS. Even though the early phase of ETH 2.0 lasts for 2 years, there is no doubt the price will rise because of the demand for running the node. ETH Network is too crowded right now, limiting the adoption and causing the company to move out of ETH platform and even some of them created their own Blockchain. With this upgrade, there might be a significant change in the network and solves this issue. If they can address this issue, the demand for using ETH platform will rise significantly and the demand for ETH coin will follow after it too.
