I like kukoin, livecoin and binance, but for begginers the best exchange is yobit. I think it is the easiest one. The worst for me was idex, and still I don`t like this exchange and try to avoid it.

Best exchange for beginner would be binance because the user interface of binance make it easy and exciting for you to want to trade. After binance, bittrex , poloniex, c-cex could all be considered!

Recently I have been trading in Bittrex, and I like it because it's easy to use so far. I now have no problems with Bittrex. Forkdelta is quite user friendly and is easily accessible for access to various markers and coins.

If I'm not mistaken Kraken and Bitfinex allow trade altcoins to USD, Deposit and withdraw in USD. But Bitfinex has entry limits. Deposit should be no less than 10000$ what is not possible for a newcomer. I prefer Binance. It has user friendly interface and it is very simple in use.

I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.

There's this ICO going on for an Australian company called BlockGrain.io  They’re aiming to automate the supply chain with Grain and later on Fruit/Vegetables/Wool. The sale has started.

To exchange cryptocurrency for money, you can use special exchangers. To implement such processes it is necessary to use more liquid cryptocurrency. Although it depends on what you need to deduce the amount.

Assuming that you are talking about trading ease, maybe you can check Shapeshift and some others. Although they do not exchange in the real sense but more token converters. Many newcomers usually have problems with account verification on every exchange, so I think the stock exchange best is EtherDelta.

for me bittrex was a good exchange..
because many exchange doesn't allow you sell coins after the points, like you have trx "4500.987" they allow you to sell only "4500"... ".987 " trx was lost.. bittrex allow you trade in points also...

one more thingh..
new exchange coming secure with zero trade fee, thread link- "https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--3342829"
check his thread and join their airdrop if you want..

Etherdelta and forkdelta gave me a very bad feeling. I can't tolerate huge delays and it's not very smooth, but many tokens can only be traded on etherdelta.

I would say binance. The design infrastructure is very simple. Its easy to use for beginners. And the site its very good,  coded by devs who understand their business. It runs always smoothly and has no lags like other exchanges i use. You can edit the charts anyhow you want

If in my opinion, the Exchange platform is made without consideration for beginners. So there is no such exchange. And my first exchange is Poloniex, nice exchange for Imo beginners, neat interface, altcoin lot, large volume

I really enjoyed HITBTC's demo program they have, I would use that for a few weeks to get a hang then go over to other exchanges that such as Bittrex or Polionex because they are safer and have better support. I have lost coins in the past with Hitbtc and did not like how they responded to me so I vote to stay away from that one even though it has a attractive interface.
HITBTC is a rip off! I mean they take away fixed amount of tokens at the time of withdrawal. I just had to pay 170 MSP tokens to make my withdrawal to my private wallet. Also all the trading is so shady over there, looks like its bots working most of the time.

Hitbtc also has a high fees compare to other trading site like binance . Transaction is also not fast and most of the time ERC20 tokens are not available to wthdraw or deposit .

The importance of chosing a good exchange is always related to the type of coins that the exchange trade because not all the exchange trade the same coins...
Recently I discovered kucoin, it have a lot of new tokens and it is very easy to use.
Kucoin is a great exchange but bigger exchange like Binance as a lot more coins than Kucoin.
As of this writing, Binance has 305 pairs https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/binance/ while Kucoin has only 296 https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/kucoin/.

there are so many good exchanges, like binance, kucoin, and okex, and I've always been trading there, there's never a problem and the security level of exchange is 100% reliable, and more importantly it's very easy to use

I like Bittrex myself... been using it for years.

Although I greatly prefer the previous UI over the new 'improved' one.

Id like to suggest KuCoin, Binance for beginner since there are not so strict with verification as well they have many tokens to trade with. Also the withdrawal fee is not that high.
