For me,  I get the best source of information through facebook  , I just search there and saw some links where I could open and pick some ideas,  but don't stick to one opinion,  just compare and compare where you get the most valuable ideas,  then the local threads here gives me more understandable answers to some of my questions where I could understand easily  . Hope it would help anyone.

The best sources of information about Bitcoin are:
1.Reddit : Reddit is the 9th most visited website in the world.
2. Twitter : We may thank President Trump for turning Twitter into an endless source of amusement, but the popular social networking service where users post up to 140 characters long messages is also an excellent source of Bitcoin news. People who post on Twitter can make their posts more visible and easily searchable by using hashtags, keywords prefixed with the # symbol.
3. CoinDesk : CoinDesk is a popular cryptocurrency news site famous for its CoinDesk Bitcoin.
4. Cointelegraph : Cointelegraph is an independent news site covering everything from cryptocurrencies to blockchain to the internet of finance.

Yup, you are right. But the sources should really be checked before believing anything you find from all the choices you have mentioned which newbies might not take into consideration because there are a lot of fake news out there that can really lead newbies astray from the truth. Even in this forum, there are a lot of people that posts or shares fake news that they, themselves haven't even confirmed yet.

Where do you guys get your info from?  Like Twitter, PBC, coindesk articles, etc.  Always looking for new sources for research Smiley
Google. There is google where you can search everything and more likey from reliable sources unlike when you search on facebook and twitter. Most of the contents of facebook is fake news. Those news that came from ordinary people who wants many likr just to be famous or what so ever even their content has no sense at all.

A quick search in the google, you can easily know the price of bitcoin. Other specialized websites like CoinDesk are the sources of many news articles about cryptocurrency. Social media like twitter, is also fast and quick source that you can subscribe or follow for new and amazing contents. Just always double check the information so that you wouldn't be fooled.

The best way of sourcing about bitcoin is searching in google about bitcoin and YouTube and other social media that can help you,  and also you can talk other people about there experience about bitcoin we can gain more knowledge about them.

The fastest source of information is social media. All the media, google, blogs, articles you can learn a lot of things there but beware of lots of fake news. I think everything you want to know can be found there. in this forum you can also keep browsing and reading, I think this is the first source of information.

The best source of information right now if I think about bitcoin is bitcointalk.org. There is a lot to discuss about bitcoin and many are also looking for sources of information about bitcoin prices or the future of bitcoin. There are many sources of information about bitcoin but I think bitcointalk.org is the most precise and accurate.

Everyone has a bias.

The best way to counter this inevitability is to get information from a variety of sites so you don't miss anything important. Coindesk, CoinTelegraph, Bravenewcoin, BitcoinMagazine, mainstream sites, you name it.

social media is still one of the fastest way to get information across to a very large number of people and somtimes radio stations also stand as a very good platform for information sharing
I certainly agree to you, that social media is one of the fastest way to get information and as of now many people continue to use to gain more information about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin. In addition to that, if you really want to more new information and update about bitcoin you should visit cointelegraph, coindesk and this forum.

Social media or medias are always a new source of getting information but of course not all on it are credible. For me, I get data about bitcoin in this forum, the bitcoin talk. It also a good source for those who want to explore the bitcoin more and deeply. The newest and latest hot topic about it are here plus you may also get someone's opinion, side, reaction, and suggestion. You can also try the reddit as what most of them suggest. Coindesk and maybe fb group of bitcoin is also a good source.

I am more than happy to read articles to get various information, more detail than social media services like twitter and facebook. Articles can make us think and get used to reading. In addition, the article also provides a clear picture to explain the contents of the information in the article. I more often get information from coindesk, cointelegraf, newsbtc, and others.
Social media services often lie a lot about the information and it seems only made up,the trusted source that we must visit really coindesk is the only information that is original in my opinion. But sometimes there is genuine news in there social media depending on who you follow or make friends with him.
