Are there any additional features in epochtalk and what made admin to change forum software

Looks very nice. Good and clean too. I can't stand the way the never ending paycoin forums looked and more and more seem to work like that too with the weird page scrolling. I'm glad this one works as one should.

Report these things on the Beta itself in the Master Bug thread or the Github page. 
Finally the most expensive web based forums is released to public. I am really happy that I can be one of the first few in history to test it. I like how SMF works with Bitcointalk and I really hope I will enjoy this million dollar forums. .

I made a new account to access the earliest pre-beta site, but when I tried using it to log into the official beta site it said my credentials were unrecognised.
You're supposed to reset your password on the beta.Has my other account been deleted? I didn't make any posts with it, I only used it to view the pre-beta site.
We can't tell you that at this moment. You would have to share your username with us. 
I guess with the new forum there will be all new Moderators / Staff too right ? LOL
I had a suspicion something was up when This place was lagging and throwing 502's for a while.

I would go test it out right now but i am scared
..i think theymos is trying to catfish me and steal my megahurtz
And will i be able to drop my GreaseMoneky Black style (global) script ?

Did you create the new account today? If so, you might have overlooked at theymos post.Due to some spam that the software wasn't quite prepared to handle yet, registration of new users is disabled for now.

Can we expect BBcode support and design good enough to migrate current posts without formatting issues by the time of the final release?
You can login without changing the password, click on forgot password and then when it asks to enter new password, just enter the old one only.

You need to follow the instructions and reset the password, though you can set the current password only in the input box !

Don't do that. Don't use the same password on multiple sites, even if one is a beta of another. If the beta site leaks passwords your main account can get compromised.
Very bizzare, on my ipad the new beta does not load all i get is request timeout error maybe it's the browser i will try it again on a different one.
Have you had any 'luck' with reproducing the problem? I've tried on a few android phones and it seems to work fine on Chrome. Try different browsers or some iPhone or other iOS device if you have one.

No. Even if changing the display name gets allowed, display name != username. If you take a closer look at the posts in the beta, you will notice that left is the username (with a bigger font) and on the right is the display name (smaller).I don't know where you see that option. On the main account editing panel, I have "Username : Erkallys Name : Erkallys", and I can't change any of them. Maybe that's a function reserved to the Legendary members ?
To change username :
- Click on your username on top right.
- You would be redirected to beta.bitcointalk.org/profiles/"username"
- Click on "Edit Profile" below your avatar.
- Now enter your new Username and Display name in the textbox of the popup that opened.
- Click Save !
Where's this top right where I should click on ? It is in my profile section ? Maybe you're talking about the top right of the beta version of the new forum, and if yes, there's a confusion, because I was talking about this ability on the current forum.
It is NOT possible to change the username in current Forum.
