The Surprise Box is a random prize that randomly appears at different times. It updates randomly between once per day or once every two to three days max.

The surprise is what's in the box -- not the box itself. I'm personally fine with however they want to run it. It's essentially freebies and is a lot more than most other sites offer.

Personally I think making the surprise box appear randomly makes it more of a "surprise"

More of a treat, less of an entitlement.

Also if they have to take it down for a day or two in the future, there will be fewer people upset about going 1.5 days without their box...well...those people will likely find something else to be upset about and attempt to get something else out of it...

Protip: Try smaller chunks for upgrades when feasible.

So rather than limit everybody on the Surprise Box make it only for people that played that day rather than limit everyone if the purpose is to get people to play.

So I did reset the PW at .ag and the new PW works fine with Client..but can't log in still at .ag says it still says the betcoin updated and need to reset PW when I try with the new one. Frankly I don't want to spend the night resetting PWs

Fantastic news patt0, please keep us up to date and we really appreciate you playing with us and it will only get better from here. 

When we instituted the update, your first login to www.Betcoin.ag you had to reset the password though it works fine in the client.  Once reset it would sync properly.  The client pulls up a client version of the website.

The point of the surprise box is to encourage play and quite frankly people find a way to abuse everything they can, it's really quite interesting.

Did you change the PW at the web site. I can't log in there. But I can log in play with the Client without changing the PW.  If you changed the PW at the web site could you log in with the client with the new PW? Seems to me the web and the client are not synchronized now as it was before.

Also, to Betcoin...how was the Surprise Box abused?? Once you clicked on it and collect it was empty for next 24 hours...How can that be abused without somebody getting access to the server. Don't understand.

UPDATE:  I was able to get the Surprise Box on the client itself without going to the website...I was playing around with the wallet converted some betcoins to chips fine...clicked some links and the surprise box came up in the client.

It seems that the problem with the login was solved. I can now login in the site and the poker room.
Surprise box was also working. thanks for the updates, and for solving everything. For me is still the best btc poker room xD

Major Betcoin.ag Update Changes

Betcoin.ag recently underwent a substantial update. Listed below you will find some of the changes and new additions.



New Wallet Features
-There are 2 wallets now: Main Wallet and Poker Wallet.
-Any funds you had before the update are in your Poker Wallet. You can easily transfer in and out of your Poker Wallet in your user wallet page.
-All deposits will go to your Main Wallet by default. If you want to play poker you will need to transfer to your Poker Wallet from your Main Wallet (it's simple and instant).

-BetcoinPartners.com has been merged into Betcoin.ag.
-Your BetcoinPartners.com account is now frozen.
-If you already had your BetcoinPartners.com account synced with your Betcoin.ag account then your balance and everything else has been automatically converted over to the Betcoin.ag account you had synced.
-If you did not have your account synced then a new temporary Betcoin.ag account has been created with all your data. Send us a ticket and we will get it merged for you.
-You now earn 5% commission on all dice play.
-All other commissions are still the same.
-Slight change in affiliate tracking link. Get your new affiliate link in your wallet (old affiliate links will still work for a while).

The "patch party" was 24 hours straight for many members of the staff, therefore less of a party...

I like most of the changes. The bugs are annoying, but livable right now, as I think everything is heading in a great direction. What I don't like, however, is the change to the affiliate section. The stats have been severely watered down -- no more seeing individual users or anything, now it's everything merged together. Having the detailed stats we had before were invaluable to us.

Also, about the Surprise Box changes, do they reward more now that they are less frequent, or the same amount as before?

To claim the prize a player must log into their Betcoin.ag account. The size of the prize depends on the VIP level and the higher the level the greater the prize.

The surprise box now updates randomly between once per day or once every two to three days max. There has been some abuse and we have to tighten it up, but it will still be very generous.

Yessir, thank you for your feedback, there are so many things coming including the blackjack tourneys and more.  We are here for you anytime. 

Reading these responses reminds us of reading the comments when the first car was introduced during the horse and buggy stage of life.  First off, people said they wanted a faster horse as an improvement to their transportation.  The complaints about the first cars were relentless as being an unreliable piece of metal on wheels.  People complained that it wasn't proven, wasn't tested enough, and that they would never leave their horse at home because it was a part of the family.  Most people however saw the future and the foundation that cars would provide for the future and capitalized on it.  We appreciate the complaints and comments because it will only make us better and we thank you for your feedback.

The foundation has improved tremendously at Betcoin with this upgrade allowing us to provide far more than ever before and imagined.  Sure there are bugs in the beginning as their are bugs in every upgrade for any company, but overall the upgrade has been a tremendous success and we have so many things coming that will be built off this upgrade that itis incredibly exciting.  As with the first cars, most people see this and the response has been overwhelming positive.

There are too many bugs since the big update, the daily surprise box is still down, I don't have it for over 1 and half day, will you give us double surprise box when the surprise box is up again?

Edit: I just talked with betcoin george, he told me that the surprise box will be up on next monday, so it means we can't get it from friday to sunday, will you site give us compensate boxes? At least give us the missing 3 boxes, if you know this crap is harmful to your site, you should give us more, like 5 boxes.

Don't tell me that only because I allowed my cousin to create her own account on my computer made your detector go crazy about me.

Home page shows the casino balance. Wallet shows both casino/poker. In my case, my balance was moved to the poker balance, so that's why it shows up on wallet and not home.
