🤑 Which coin would you gift a friend?
If you wanted to introduce a buddy to crypto,
which token or coin would you send them as a starter?

I prefer giving my friends real things rather than money or cryptocurrency. But if I wanted to spark someone's interest in the crypto world, I’d rather gift them a book about blockchain or something practical for learning, like a hardware wallet. This kind of gift would help them understand how the crypto space works and start their journey safely.

Don't think books could spark up some interest of some individuals especially that not everyone could carry out these things and want to read long text then spend time with it.

For sure there would be more other things that can spark up their interest especially that we know Crypto has lots of opportunities to give. Although I respect your opinion since I guess this is what you think good for your friend. But for me I will give them SOL or ETH then teach them some basic things on how they can use it to multiply what they receive from me. Provably with this they might get an interest to continue especially if they know that they can earn something from what they learn from us. I don't know I introduce them to gamble but maybe later on will just guide them if they discover it and everything might follow especially if they show some eagerness to continue.

Again, my answer will be similar to the previous one: Bitcoin! Because it's the coin that every beginner should start with, it's the safest and most well-known. By learning how to use Bitcoin, he will invariably be learning how to use all the coins based on the UTXO model, such as Bitcoin forks: Litecoin, Dogecoin...

I advise everyone whenever I can: start using Bitcoin first, then learn how to use other protocols. You should know the basics first, such as backing up, transferring, receiving. Then you can learn how to use coins/tokens with their own networks: Eth, Solana, Arbitrium, TRX, etc.

I had a similar conversation on a thread where someone converted (as per OP) $66 into more than $3 million. You can check my response. Although nothing bad about trying these lotteries, take them as lotteries instead of labeling them as trading. Without some insane luck or insider information Grin this much growth is not possible.

There are some people out there who "specialize" in meme coins. In a way that they have a pretty good understanding of overall market and hype, and have an idea when a certain meme coin can go up.
These coins usually go up with help of those "cheap" influencers who get paid $10 to promote it, and in result, it gets a pump. Some people get lucky, some get rekt

Even with a good understanding of the market, your timing on these meme coins is crucial. You need to buy it at the very first start, hope that it gets pumped for some random reasons, don't become too greedy if the price goes up and then sell with a profit. It is all doable but so much based luck than skill.

It would definitely be Bitcoin as I can attest to it's sustainability and reliability compared to the other coin and tokens in existence. I would also let them know why I gifted them Bitcoin so they too can do same too to others when they also introduce others to Crypto.

Bitcoin already has a good base that can hardly be shattered. It took time for Bitcoin to get to this stage it is so the probability of it going down is not realistic any time soon. Although there are other Crypto currencies but I feel gifting Bitcoin as the genesis of Crypto would do them better as their first holding for a start as Crypto enthusiasts and I believe they would never forget that so quickly that they received Bitcoin from the person that onboarded them into Crypto as their first Crypto assets they got from me. It would forever remain in their memory.

This is good to know; I guess it was just a temporary glitch in the network.

Based on reputation, I would recommend and gift Bitcoin to that friend simply because there is very strong community around it and the chances of it dumping completely to something of no value is almost zero.

Asides gufting crypto to them, I will also make sure they have adequate knowledge to make progress.

Will be there regular normal poker tournament (non heads-up) sponsored by betfury in the future?
The chances are very high considering the just-organized championship went very smoothly and was a success.

Congratulations to the winner from the championship mv1986, who defeated Royse who I bet on.

The most common problem on poker tournament like this is about its schedule (starting time) because we are coming from different timezone so it is a bit hard to find a friendly schedule for all potential participants.
This championship was accomodating for all the participants, with more contestants, there will surely be a way to ensure that everyone is considered. Just be ready to play or bet when another championship begins.  Smiley

Gifting someone needs to be convenient and comfortable for them in using the gift and transaction fee needs to be considered.

Bitcoin is not good in transaction fee and I would like to choose Litecoin as my gift to someone else. Litecoin is cheaper than Bitcoin in on chain transaction fees, and if the gift is small in value, Litecoin is very good choice.

Even the gift is big in value, transaction fee if is expensive, can make your friends feeling like it is not too comfortable for spending it and it plays like a barrier to prevent them joining Bitcoin community and gambling with bitcoin. At the end if they win from bets, they will need to make withdrawals and again withdrawal fee can be important with them.

i was using brave, and switching to firefox seemed to fix it, but it didn't last long. after a few minutes, i started getting the same problem.

i'm just going to give up and forget about it. surely it will go away on its own after a few days (i hope).
Perhaps it's got something to do with your settings. Have you customized your browser's settings manually for greater privacy or are you maybe using add-ons or extensions that might be causing the issues. Try accessing BetFury in an incognito window with no active extensions and see if that works.
i doubt it, considering i was able to access the website with my current settings before, and i didn't change anything.

I have also heard a lot about newly listed pairs on Binance (one of them you already mentioned) with some massive growth but I still dare not Grin

If you dare to trade these meme coins, you will have to risk getting liquidated in a few minutes. The opposite can happen as well. You can earn thousands of dollars within a short time. I heard that a guy bought $800 worth of Trump coins and sold it for $310K after 15 minutes. I don't remember seeing such a pump within 15 minutes.

Sometimes it is worth trying these meme coins with some small amount of funds just for fun. If you can hit at least one by any chance, it changes your life in a short time. But if you end up investing big amount, it can make you homeless too  Cheesy Cheesy

Most of my portfolio is in bitcoin and since I firmly believe that you should first own BTC, that would be my choice. I have gifted bitcoin to friends in the past, for instance during birthdays or as wedding gifts. I am happy to say that some of them haven't sold yet. It might also be because they don't know how to. Definately some USDT or USDC. That way the gift doesn't lose any value while he thinks what he wants to invest in.
If i had to choose a non stable one, it would be either BTC o ETH, the big daddies of crypto

📈 What's Your Go-To Currency for Trading Futures?
https://betfury.tv/Trade-Futures

⬩ CAKE ⬩ BTC ⬩ ETH ⬩ BNB

My favorite cryptoasset is BTC, it's the most stable asset and the one I feel most comfortable venturing into. Every now and then I try to extend my investment into other currencies/pairs.

I made a deposit on the BetFury platform using Dogecoin, but when I tried to exchange it for another asset, for example USDT, I couldn't exchange it. It reported an error and didn't provide any further details.

I need to use USDT or USDC to test the futures.

As incredible as it may seem, I tried again now and it worked to exchange assets.

I've actually traded the futures market alot of times, and some times with a really high leverage, but like you said, it's very risky, aside from being able to (maybe) carry out some market analysis and fundamentals which assist alot in helping the trader make a good decision, I would say that there is no difference between futures trading with high leverage and gambling, both are born of the same parents but have different destinies.

Most of the time I lost huge, like using a high leverage simply means that any slight shift off the direction you predict the market to go, you get liquidated.

And speaking of the best currency to use for futures trading, I have always preferred usdt or any other stable coin like usdc, I have never and actually hate to use volatile currencies to trade futures, makes calculations a bit more complicated than when a stable currency Is used.

It's probably not worth doing it manually because if the market is very volatile, you won't have time to react to a sharp change in price.
I guess highly leveraged futures are profitable only for those who have automated this process, i.e. who have used a trading bot with a good strategy.
And it's obvious that futures on the Betfruy site are just gambling, as there are not even any indicators to analyze.

My go-to currency is USDT in all exchanges. I never touched any other pair apart form usdt/btc  Grin. I do not have any specific reason for that, I mean never really felt to change it. This pair is less prone to fluctuations (although still decent) unlike others where one can quickly liquidate with even 5-10x leverage.
Having said that, I will be exploring more pairs from now on just to get more exposure and fun.  Grin

umm, probably you didn't get their question, or maybe I misunderstood you. USDT is the coin that you choose to pair with Bitcoin, right?

I guess then the right answer (my answer) would be BTC! Grin
Thanks a lot for pointing this out to me.

Usually I'll close the screen and use a different browser and sometimes it works otherwise I usually don't force myself and prefer to wait until the next day.
well, waiting until the next day did not work either. i just tried again today, and i'm still being blocked Undecided

Never traded anything with leverage as it feels too risky for me. Doing that with USDT seems the most safe indeed ; imagine doing that with TRUMP coin; you could make massive money if it works out or you could also loose all your money quickly.
