One year is a decent time for an investment. If you are not uncomfortable, I may ask how much you have invested before one year and how much you got in terms of $. If you can give me some percentages it will also do.

Unless Trump openly supports BetFury, i see no real impact on the token. Maybe few percent up, but not much. BTC and ETH however, might go up more.
The only way i see that BFG token gets a significant increase in value is to utilize it. But that takes time

Short-term or long-term will also depend on personality traits as well. An impatient individual will not be quick to accept staking for a longer period; their preference will be quick short-term returns.

A patient person also by nature will not mind long-term staking, as they can be patient enough to wait for returns.

I prefer long term staking, because I'm not in a hurry. There are places where I have been staking for 2-3 years. I see it as passive income and I don't disrupt this investment. It keeps accumulating on its own.
Everyone's strategy may be different, my primary preference is to make long-term plans. We can get much better APR rates in long term staking. Up to 60% APR in Betfury is really hard to find elsewhere.
