You’ve given me something to chew on but, aim to be his replacement is what I can’t think of. It would be an error not to have either Haaland or Salah on the team but, I don’t have any option of taking out some of midfield players which doesn’t look like a very awful set up as I see it right now.
Manchester City would be playing Spurs from a home side and the fixture is a game you could expect a lot of goals, probably an over 2.5 and Haaland could be on this scoresheet hopefully. I might have to hang on to him in this GW to see how he performs maybe.

I am not sure I will be able to take points hit, my team needs a change but I may choose to go about it the slow way. It may end up being a bad decision, or the right one, I don’t think anyone can know for sure.

There are managers that take hits like crazy and those that will never take hits I am pragmatic. I look at the team at any given time and make a mental calculation. If I believe that following equation stands I go for the transfers, otherwise I don't. Simple as that
new players points - negative points > old players points
Time frame is 3-5 weeks, depending on players, fixture swings and stuff like that. If player is someone like Saka or Palmer it can even be much more.

Not sure why, but I'm always so against going for those negative points. I wanna change 8 players but would never go -16 to do it, although 16 points across 5 GW's actually does make sense across 4 defenders.

The problem is that in 5 GW's I'll want City/Liverpool assets back, and then my fancy defence is a problem again.

New Contract for Guardiola (not as if it matters, though), but Haaland 5 Goals + Assists in two games over the break have me rolling my eyes Roll Eyes

, he had just two in the previous break, however that on the hand does mean he's not going to be as fully rested as Palmer or Saka.

Most times you get to see some players being pulled out from international games after a clash that looks like an injury scene because they have a bigger game ahead in their individual clubs. And the international coach has promised to return the player safely. Van Dijk is an important player in the Liverpool squad, he should be prevented from getting injured ahead of the big games coming after the international break.

Virgil will be fine. It was just a precaution so that he doesn't get unnecessarily injured. He's probably a yellow flag anyway, so I wouldn't be too concerned about this if I was trying to get him.

That being said, go get some defenders who can score headers. Aina Gvardiol Konate VVD Gabriel etc.

We shall see, Christmas time crazy schedule coming up. There will be a lot of rotations and those players that play 90 minutes every game will become super important. Too bad if Van Dijk is out, he was one of them and i considered taking him just because of that. I don't think anyone else in Liverpool defense will play almost all minutes. Arsenal players could become super important since Arteta doesn't rotate his main guys.

Not just them, any Liverpool asset other than Salah (and Konate) didn't really do well.
Diaz started strong so he can be in 'decent' department, everything else is a no-go for me.

Slot heavily rotates the offensive line, midfielders aren't creative enough to warrant a place in the team and defenders are mostly too expensive only for clean sheets.

This season is not looking like Arsenal's season; injury will be the end of us. Trossard picked up an injury in the international break; as to the extent of the injury, we are yet to know. He is very crucial for our attack and can affect our ability to score goals. If Trossard stays out for a long time, we will have to depend on Martinelli that most times in this season has looked clueless on the ball.

Sorry about your health challenges, sure you’re doing much better now and feel better motivated with the pump in BTC price. It’s going to get even more attractive come next year but until then, all hands have to be on deck.
Just wish I had a better start and enough about the E. Haaland thing, it’s more about making good use of the remaining GWs to better position your team else, season would be gone and it would be a struggling to better place yourself. This could as well be my worst season still. Hope to make something of it in the coming days.

Because of a few health problems I have had I couldn't allocate enough time for the forum and pools this year. I won much less points than I needed to because of not being able to take care of my fantasy squad most of the time. However I'm still feeling myself lucky as I'm still in a place to be able to get a prize this season. I'm going to cause you trouble by taking care of my team much more in the rest of the season. Don't forget that TAA is a dead ball specialist and that LFC usually tend to be near the top of the league in goals scored from set pieces.
Hasn't been like that this season, but it will probably revert to the average at some point in the season.

8 players have reportedly withdrew from England squad, at least that's good news for those that plan on bringing some of them in to replace of Haaland, hopefully they'd be fit just in time before the resumption.
