Hey, how is it we couldn't change teams? I'm trying to swap Salah out (also for captaincy) but no games have started, and yet I couldn't do anything.

I suppose reading cryptofrka's update, no one could change anything anyway, just that I wish I had known earlier. Was out when I got the news and soon as I could get on mobile, nothing could be changed.

Captaincy and subs more important, not sure I like how I left it.

MMmmm same here, i wake up and see the game was postponed, and shit i dont remember who is my vice captain, i already checked this and my vice captain is Haaland, i dont feel very confortable with him as a captain for this round, but lets see.

Fantastic choice to switch to Gomez, the game is postponed. Meaning not only that Gomez cannot play, but also that I exchanged him for Davis who would have been a starter.
Van den Berg or Colwill need to be brought in now - not sure which one is a worse option.

Also - Salah was the only option for captain in this round considering that I don't have Haaland.
Palmer and Jackson have a tough away game at Spurs, Arsenal at defensively solid Fulham, Newcastle playing away at Brentford who is the best home team in the league at the moment (what a statistic after 1/3 of the season has passed, eh?).

Really not sure how to ad any more LFC assets to the team. They have a great run of fixtures, but other than Salah all of them will be heavily rotated.

Their defenders (other than Gomez) are way too expensive, Gomez kinda makes sense considering all the injuries.
I just have enough money before tonight's price change to finally get rid of Leif Davis, from who I expected way more in this run of fixtures.

I will probably bring Gomez in, but he's just a transfer waiting to happen at a later date.

Salah is the only sure thing in the team no matter what happens. I had Szoboslai and Diaz but they were om bench most of the time so honestly i wont be getting anyone from that team. I think also im gonna a save a transfer for next week so i can have 2 transfers and make a big change. I dont see anyone who i can bring now to my team to make an impact.

Yep.

The only constant thing aside Mo' Salah for Liverpool is their backline, and Van Dijk is of good value budget wise with Konate out injured, but TAA providing two assists against Newcastle could make him worth looking at too.

Except for those proving a little bit of attacking returns, there is no defense actually worth wasting a transfer on right now, imo.

I wouldn't bank on it though; I will not be surprised to see Salah on the bench, or most likely his playing time reduced. As much as Slot wants to maintain the advantage he already has at the top of the league, I am not sure he will want to risk Salah getting injured or his fitness level dropping due to fatigue.
That’s the trouble Arsenal faced in the past two seasons, the team was fatigued and the fitness level dropped. Same scenario might play out with Liverpool but, with the transfer window opening by January, slot would finally get the chance to get some of his own specials into the team and some alternatives to increase the club depth. Until that happens, I don’t think Salah would be missing any playing time. His role in the team is one that can’t be ignored, less Liverpool is winning by 5 goals to 0.

Salah will be rested in the cups, potentially in the CL games as well. Liverpool will surely secure top 8 in the CL, meaning that Salah will play most of his PL minutes.

There's a storm hitting England though, so some of the games might be postponed. Merseyside derby is among them - which might impact some of us.

Tottenham has got to be a really useless team tbh, I'm glad I didn't do Gvardiola for Pedro Porro
I believe the dynamics of the game would have gone differently if Ange Postecoglou decided not to rotate players, keeping Son and Porro out. They both had some influence on the game when they came in. Johnson could then move to the right side of the field, which he prefers, and Kulusevski could move to the middle. Ange was likely thinking about their next game against Chelsea.

I believe Chelsea will meet a stubborn and different Tottenham team when they visit Tottenham Stadium this weekend. I wonder if Plamer will still be a good captain option.

Yeah, maybe Chelsea would be faced with a tough Tottenham squad, at least they are known for doing well enough against big/better teams. I don't know if Palmer would be a good choice, but I've got multiple options Perhaps, Saka, or Salah and then there's Bruno who I'm considering bringing in. My only concern is now who the play and who to bench, currently there is Mbeumo whom I don't If I should play instead of Rogers. Aston Villa are up against the heavily conceding Southampton, Mbeumo against Newcastle, and then Bruno vs Nottingham Forrest, quite a tough decision to make, for me.

Not sure if we are ready for Manchester City assets, but good to see that they can hold a cleansheet as a team after so many moons  Roll Eyes and Haaland assist wow Tongue

Yeah after all the bum and shit they finally kept clean sheet but this time leaving my Lewis on the bench and bringing him on to collect 1 pointer. Halaand is the only sensible asset in that team but right now he's ass and needs KDB to unlock him. Untill that happens keep him away from the team.
I found that sub very odd, and I have noticed Pep rotation is concentrated around the back four this time around which doesn't happen oftenly with him.. immediately at the half mark he will sub players pinning 📍 them to a 1point and as EPL managers it's a blank on our side Roll Eyes

On KDB, you are spot on and it looks like his back in the driving seat which should see a whole different Citeh going forward...he will draw more players away from Haaland that should open his scoring opportunities again..let's see what happens over the weekend.

Palmer said he stole that Nkunku goal for the sake of his FPL owners that's the kind of players I want on the my team, Bruno is another guy that cares about his FPL points but he play in a shitty team.
It's nice to go for players that are aware of fantasy football as they put in the work to make their managers happy  Cool

Alex Iwobi looks very good to be considered, if not that they have very tough games coming, starting with Arsenal first, then Liverpool, then Southampton, and then Chelsea. The only game that they will have a chance is in the Southampton game.
I was surprised at his performance today, much much more than I would have hoped but, his not been a priority player for me yet. I don't trust Fulham that much to keep on producing this kind of performance.

Spurs  was an absolute disappointment today,  I expected more of them but, they couldn't even reply Bournemouth not to mention a win. Good thing I do t have more of their asset.

So far in this GW, I think where I've got my decision wrong was with Fabianski, getting him on the pitch and Raya on the bench. Only for Raya to raxk 6 points with Fabianski pulling just 2 points through. My entire  forward didn't do nothing!

Fuck, i make a bet making Haaland captain again, thinking about he is gonna wake up in this game and give me an advantage but that doesnt happen at all.
You expected goals, but he at least got an assist; that should count for something, lol. I expected goals from Pedro as well in Brighton's game today, but he only got an assist. Better than nothing, of course.

I expected more from Joao Pedro as well to be honest, but I'll take the assist... I'm in need of a midfield, but not sure Iwobi is going to by any means be up for consideration for me.

Tottenham has got to be a really useless team tbh, I'm glad I didn't do Gvardiola for Pedro Porro after Gvardiol was dropped to the bench by Guardiola against Liverpool, one minute they look to have figured out only for them to blow against weaker opponents. They won only 3 of their last 9 matches in all competitions, Man City x2, Aston Villa, sigh.

Same  Grin At the end of the season, he will still be the most profitable player, but the fact that he and City fell into a hole and did not bring points for several rounds is annoying. For me, this is especially offensive because in the first rounds of the season (when he was most productive) he was not in my team. But no matter how bad he is in separate games, removing him from the team in the long run will be unprofitable.

Hahaha so we are exactly in the same position i also dont ahve him in the starts rounds where he was super profitable, and now when i have him he doesnt make anything for a few rounds. I think like you is a pain in the ass but i have to keep him thinking in the long run.

Yee  Cheesy And the special pain is that many when he made hat-tricks took the card "captain's tripling" (when I took this bonus he only made a double). After such a lag it is unrealistic to catch up with the lucky ones, so now I mainly try to just win at least a yellow cap (free bet). I'm lucky enough with free bets so I'm continuing the competition.

Thanks god Palmer doesnt do so much and only a few guys stands with Salah as captain.
