To be honest, I'm mostly trying to play against icopress at this point in time already due to our sidebet.
I was afraid that him captaining Haaland in these 5 games (Everton, Leicester, WHU, Brentford and Ipswich) could be the difference between us, so I reshuffled.
Proved to be a terrible choice, but at least this time defence came to the rescue and brought me unexpected points.
If I hadn't fucked it up with captains again, could have been a decent round. Considering how it started, I'll take this result with a smile on my face.

Heung-Min Son lucky lad with that big deflection of a goal, because looking at some of the past games, I didn't not see Tottenham assets performing today and then Arsenal keeping chocking when the get into the final third and am now worried that these guys won't get a goal back and perhaps win the game...but long way to go let's see how the second half goes as the 1st concludes.

Saved by Semenyo. Again. So who here correctly captained Palmer besides Joca97? I got burned by him before, never again. Mbeumo should have had at least 2 assists, so annoying for the finiishing!

Well 4 player in top 10 of our fantasy league captained Palmer and the rest i think Salah. I had Mbeumo as well and i cannot believe in both of their two goals he didnt contribute anything. Everyone else in my team besides Palmer were really bad. Could have gotten a lot more points now hoping Murphy and Isak do something
I said it the last time that Semenyo could be a good grab, I guess it's time to cash in temporarily on my Mbeumo investment, and good for other alternative to make way for extra funds for the assistant manager, I think it might be time for a Joao Pedro/Nicolas Jackson alternative as well.

Well im in the same leaky boat as many, i went with Haaland as captain and was a bad take. Thanfully Salah also was not good, and Palmer only socre one goal, which harms me but not so bad, i cant take that hit.

Palmer captains are the real winners this GW, but not by much. Surprisingly very few people seem to have captained Isak in this pool, so people who own him or Gordon or Hall could still gain an edge over their Palmer (C) counterparts if they fire on all cylinder.
I knew he was gonna be bad and thats why i removed Salah but expected more from Palmer just one goal,but as far as i seen a lot of people putted Palmer as captain so not much points gained. Also didnt expect some players to put Isak on captain,i have him in my team but not on captain still expecting at least one goal from him. Made some changes that didnt payoff was expecting more points but just got 36 points with 3 players left. As far as i see a bad round for almost everyone

So much for dependency on Salah to give you those points. Should have known better with Nottingham Forest playing from a home side when they rivalry Liverpool. Sels and Aina didn’t make anything easy for them. Salah was basically looking for the far corner all game and Sels was just a dive and a punch away. One last chance where I felt he would have gotten his goal, Aina was in the way with a block to the thighs.
The good thing about this captaincy so far is that, it cuts across all except for Palmer but yeah, no much difference, doesn’t make it less of a plus still.

Brentford was a litmus to confirm if Manchester City were back fully to winning ways; Manchester City failed and still remain an unreliable choice for me to make. They still cannot be trusted to win all the games from now on to the end of the season. Decided not to meddle with my team, despite 5 free transfers in the bank, and despite Isak supposedly carrying a hamstring injury (I hate this injury the most, but maybe Howe's just being coy here, they need their guy). Hoping for a goalfest between Isak and Cunha. Usually not wise to put opposing players on the field, but strikers don't really count, do they? Mbeumo, don't let me down tonight man. I don't think he'll lose status, we all blame the club. I am thankful to these owners for getting us out of bankruptcy but they really haven't been investing much in the club - especially recently.

If cryptofrka would also be using the triple captain chip then I probably would have to look for other captain options, perhaps Diogo Jota or Luis Diaz.. cryptofrka using the chip is likely going to be another jinx, which has been the most consistent this season.

I don't think I'll be making any alterations to my team this week, I've got to save up my transfers to work around the assistant manager chip, for the chip I was consistently looking at using it on Guardiola, but their position in the league standing has not deteriorated further, it would have been a better gamble, their fixtures from gameweek 24 is Arsenal, Newcastle, and Liverpool, while both Arsenal and Liverpool could have had the 5 more position places bonus for the chip if Man City should win the game, Arsenal is a more winnable imo.
