And it ends Newcastle 1-2 Bournemouth.

Naaahhh Woodie, not Newcastle 1:2 Bournemouth but, Newcastle 1:4 Bournemouth. It’s a terrible terrible game I tell you. Not a chance would anyone have seem this.
My bad was still in disbelief and ended up with that typo, what a terrible result from a Newcastle side that was in great form and couldn't register a win with the home support Cry

Just nothing  Cry oh maybe those with Lewis Hall and can count their points as a consolation prize.
You ran off way too early man, good for you, you didn’t have to endure the shit show the rest of us was watching, waiting to see something from our team selection and then, Kluivert just kept scoring again and again without any returns.

We got lucky with Lewis Hall getting substituted for Trippier later in the game and didn’t have to endure all those goals against Newcastle else, he would have gotten most of his points subtracted for conceiving 4 goals. Brentford Vs Liverpool is on the go, let me rush down there with hopes to see Salah blank and even the scores.

With everything at stake, trying to get a 10 win streak, with the form they’ve got against a team that have got lots of players nursing their injuries while, they play from a home side. Newcastle have got every course to win but just couldn’t.
Bournemouth play very well this season, not surprised by the win, just amazed by how many goals they were able to score. They were tactically better overloading the midfield and breaking out really quick.

I expected a goal, at least from Isak and Semenyo; none scored, but Semenyo picked up an assist. I think he plays better from the right than the left, Semenyo, I mean.

I kept Kerkez on the bench; I did not expect a goal from him, but he scored. I hope it is not something I regret again, like I did regret keeping Wood on the bench in my last GW.

Isak wasn’t getting enough of the ball and Gordon just had his balls blocked off.

Another GW, another waste of captaincy for me!

I could not get Wood with 1FT so I gotta roll. Best captaincy this GW by far.

Wood?
I'd never captain any Forest offensive asset. They play smart and cohesive, I don't see them winning 3-0 while creating chance after chance.
In this round NFO defensive assets will probably turn out good, and I assume Wood will score or assist - but I'd be surprised to see him score a hattrick.

I'd captain Palmer, Salah or Haaland before Wood for sure. Then again, I've been notoriously crap with captains this season.

The fantasy app shows 4 potential injuries in my team (Palmer, Colwill, Diaz, Sarr), I think they will all start so I won't be making any changes.

No one is asking/thinks he would score an hattrick but I'm sure he's gonna score brace against Southampton crappy defense and burn my rank again.

Palmer (C), Isak (V) at this point I want Palmer to 100% save me from a disaster this GW. If Palmer doesn't play then I'm screwed. First time trusting Isak and he blanked. Salah goals has dried up and Brentford are tricky side.

Wtf Newcastle is getting destroyed by Bournemouth in their own background and I didnt see this coming and I bet  a million other Fantasy Managers  expected this to be a Newcastle win for their assets!

And before game started , one of the commentators said something in the lines of Newcastle hasn't got 10 wins in a roll and this is the point I knew their game was jinxed, better luck Newcastle .

And it ends Newcastle 1- 2 4 Bournemouth.

A wood hattrick would almost never happen in Nottingham Forest, as you've said they play really smart, they really don't go chasing goals after goals, it's always about the game management once they hit the very first one, If Forest have been free scoring team, the Wood for sure would have been out of sight in terms of FPL points. I have never looked past Haaland, Palmer or Salah for my captain this season, but I sure would have even different alternatives like Isak, even Mbeumo before I'd come close to arriving at Wood.

Chelsea and Manchester City assets when it comes to defending are so shity such that it's a no go area to pick any of them, yes even the Gvardiol guy is scary at this time  Tongue though the likes of Palmer, Sancho, Foden/Silva aren't bad picks from the team in "general." Roll Eyes

With all praises going on for some players, going forward depending on fixture, expect to see more Ahmed picks, Mbeumo picks, Isak, Gordon, Iwobi etcetera  Roll Eyes Anyway time to make my picks for gw22..

Chelsea plays on Monday, plenty of time for their players to nurse knocks. I don't think there are serious injuries in play here.

Just the information I was skimming to get. Not like I’ve got a lot of Chelsea assets on my team but, I’ve got Palmer and I like to have not just player that is going to future in the games but, a reliable one. Can’t have him out on injury regrettably and don’t want to have to transfer him. What really went wrong, how are they getting these injuries? They looked okay after they played Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Haven’t recovered from the Amad shocker though, looking forward to better points in this round.

Even if he's eventually out injured, I'll definitely leave him in, in as much as it's just a 1-2 game week he'll be missing, and funny enough that'd make the choice of selecting a captain rather easier, since it's now going to likely be a case of Isak or most likely Salah, Palmer being in the miss makes it trickier. And there would be literally no point lost since everyone else has him too.

Felix, Nkunku, and Veiga may be leaving this month, and we don't even have any replacements to take their places..

I don't think your club actually needs to replace those fringe players though. Can you believe how badly that Nkunku punt has gone though? Man did nothing all season and is trying to leave.

Yeah, there's plenty of time for them to recover from their "injuries", unlike for many other clubs who play today or tomorrow.

@Igebotz, have you heard of Chelsea's interest in signing Garnacho?

I heard the news, and while I like watching Ganarcho, who is a direct attacking winger, he is still young and could be one of the best players in Europe in the years to come. However, we already have players who are similar to Ganarcho on the bench. Misplaced priorities

Players pick up injuries a lot in training; this is a normal thing that we've seen in football. Chelsea players have been competing at a high stake this season in trying to maintain the race to the league leaders Liverpool; it looks like the fast games they've been playing under Maresca all season are finally getting to them.

I dont know what is happening. How can all of those players be injured at the same time or not play. I got Colwill,Enzo and Palmer and all three might not play. I honestly dont know what to do. Got 3 subs that are okay to replace them but still this might be a huge hit for me if all three dont play. Plus i got only one transfer so cant change all three.
I am lucky perhaps to have taken off Enzo last GW, because he never really gave me any reasonable points; I got him after his brief form that never continued. So I have only Palmer to think about.

I am not sure Chelsea will be able to handle a game without Cole Palmer because he is as important a player for them as Odegaard and Saka for Arsenal.
Wolves is a team that you can never be sure about the result you are going to get. On a good day, they can be a very difficult team to play; they will certainly bang the Chelsea goal, of course.

Well i dont think that all of them wont play. Its impossible that all get injured at same time, maybe some trick by the Chelsea staff. But i want to remove Enzo after this round and get Rogers,he always produces points. Wanted to use a wild card but builded a team really good and just dont want to waste it. But double week is on GW 24 and im still thinking of doing a wild card on GW 23 so i can take full advantage of it.
Lots of conflicting info coming these days, I am thinking for once to save the transfer and just let it ride. I have several players I want to bring to my club but none I actually want to sell. Best to wait and see what happens. Keeping fingers crossed NFO screws one game, they are the team that can hurt me most this week.

HORRIBLE round for me, one of the worst teams in this round of the whole league.

I make a bet, putting two Manchester United defenders because they played against the worst team by far in the league seeking to have a clean sheet in both players, and that was not a good decission Southampton scores very easily and destroy my hopes.

Bad captain choice (Haaland) and for worst Solanke making an own goal..... a few yellows cards and GG for me. Disaster. Only ""saved"" by Diallo making a less horrible round thankfully.

About 5 players now have an injury scare for Chelsea, including our most beloved Palmer, Chelsea is supposed to face Wolves, and I was considering having him or Isak for my captain this week... I guess I might just skip him and stick with Salah yet again.
