Race to captain/player of the gameweek is on, Chris Wood already leading this race with two goals scored against Leicester which already puts him in the team of the week...while Haaland got on the scoresheet early,  means goal drought is cleared in the EPL and hope he goes crazy with a hattrick or gets more goals to his name  Tongue

Come on team Haaland,  paint the sky blue  Embarrassed

Damn!

I hope it’s not something serious because dude has been a life saver of recently and he’s super budget friendly, If he’d be missing just a week, I’m definitely still keeping him.
Post-Match Interview, he said it was not something serious. I hope so.
Just a guy stepping on his foot. Nothing serious, should be fine. It hurts of course but those things heal quickly and even if they don't there isn't any problem playing trough it. No additional risk of aggravating the injury.

Vardy keeps returning from by bench.

Which is not too bad, considering that he is the 'in case of emergency, break glass' option.

But that also means my midfield is supposed to be good.

Salah - Rogers - Diaz - Mbeumo - Semenyo sounded like the killer combination, but I am not particularly happy with how Diaz or Semenyo are performing these days.

Maybe Diaz => Maddison and Semenyo => McNeil is the move here.

Tough fixtures, also I don't really feel like he's worth 11 million.
There will surely be fixtures in which I'll take him, but I still don't believe in Chelsea when the games are tough and think there's better value elsewhere.
When it’s about the fixtures and Chelsea not doing much in tough games, we might agree on that but, to say that Palmer isn’t worth what his priced at, am not so sure. He is 6 points just below Salah as it is, priced at £12.6 who seems to be worth that price. It all comes down to what you want on your team.

I didn’t get Haaland on my team early enough and it cost me a bad start. I was focused on his price and it wasn’t worth it at a time but, I got him for a far more valued priced and his goal scoring dropped! Several captaincy chances thrown to the wind and yet, am still watching to see what he does against Southampton, after 2 goals at the UCL.

Shame about Wood, was looking for that hattrick. SHe was great for me, maybe time to swap him..
We'll see how serious it is, but Forrest getting to a tougher fixture list anyway.
Probably because he got substituted but, he’s been some of the best transfer I’ve made this season and am not letting him off my team any time soon.

The best options look to be Johnson, Bowen or f%&king Adama Traore. Whatever I do' I'll 100% mess it up.
I have Johnson; I have had him since last week. I was cut up with too many decisions this GW; I decided not to take action but just leave my team the same and bank my transfer for GW 10.

Chris Wood gave all who have him a feast today.  A good start to the GW.

Palmer isn’t a bad choice either, he’s impact for Chelsea and points is evident in his rise which makes me wonder,
Why you had to avoid him…
Is it a dare to be different kind of thing since his on a good number of our teams or
It’s more about the money in the bank for you?

I was really close to leaving Eze in my team when finalizing my transfers today, because I could find a perfect replacement (upgrade) work around, I just had settle for McNeil at the end of the because he’s cheaper and Everton’s fixtures are quite better I could live with him dropping a stinker with his price than Eze putting a big dent in my budget week in week out.

Don't be upset..

After a week of thinking about who to pick, I see 3 minutes before the deadline that there's a game on tonight.
So, in 1 minute in which I had to pick who to take, I chose Garnacho.

My instinct was to avoid Palmer - I could have squeezed him into the team but decided not to. Almost 5 mil in the bank - and I plan to keep it that way for a few rounds. Crazy.
Garnacho isn’t a bad choice really, his being very instrumental to most of the success with the Manchester United team.

Palmer isn’t a bad choice either, he’s impact for Chelsea and points is evident in his rise which makes me wonder,

Well. I am not sure will be happy with what I did with my rushing today but I used two free transfers to offload Anderson (suspension) and Saka (injury).

That messes up my team and I could have held on but did not want to waste another week fielding two guys who won't play.

Do wish I had more balls to captain Salah but Southampton are so bad...

[...] accommodate two premium midfielders.
Don't tell me you bought Foden (he played the full 90 minutes in the UCL).

On the other hand, Man City have a lot of injured midfielders and it seems that Foden's appearance in the starting lineup is inevitable.

[...] Whatever I do' I'll 100% mess it up.
Don't be upset.. today when I woke up I bitterly regretted that I sold ESR and Havertz)

But there is also good news... I bought those who are on your team and on Trofo's team, so you won't be able to overtake me too much in this round unless you use TC on Haaland.

The Best Tipster on the Forum!!
I will beat you to it, surely.

I need to sell Saka in order to buy a starting Mid.

Son? Nope, didn't go to Netherlands, didn't train.
Maddison? Taken off at HT last league game, played EL with reserves.
Palmer, Salah - even Barnes - tough fixtures.

The best options look to be Johnson, Bowen or f%&king Adama Traore. Whatever I do' I'll 100% mess it up.

Sold saka aswell and got madisson and watkins for upcoming round. Not satisfied with my team and i think i messed it up pretty badly. Hopefully Halland goes crazy as captain

Beating both of you guys since I already pulled the trigger on Son before the news broke out. Not traveling to Netherlands was expected for me and never thought he is injury risk. Even paid -4 for him since I was restructuring my team to accommodate two premium midfielders.

Just the way this season goes so far.

The week of shitty decisions is officially open!

I bought Aït-Nouri to avoid a price increase, and sold Havertz (to avoid a price drop). And Aït-Nouri will be sitting on the bench this week.

And guess what? I paid -4 points for it.  Lips sealed

Scoring an average of 50 points is really nice, but Saka's serious injury makes me think that I need to make some changes.
I am stuck on so many decisions to take. I am not so sure about Brenan Johnson having the minutes with Son back and Richarlison scoring during their Europa game.

Saka injury update, not sure of his return, and at this point keeping him on the bench may not be a really good option.

Then having TAA and Gabriel in my defensive line, with me having only one free transfer option, complicates my decision-making.

It's gotta be Foden, if not then I don't know who it could possibly be.

I already risked it with Foden in the last round. Came off the bench and assisted, he played CL game and scored.
Not happy that the played the full 90, he'll potentially be benched in the PL again. Still, Foden is worth the risk.

The other guy is the obvious one for me, I just wanna see how his team will line up for tonight's game. Ideally he comes off the bench.

We shall see, for starters need Spurs to destroy Crystal Palace

Spurs have used up their monthly demolishing coupon, so expect a boring 1 - 1 draw with no Solanke involvement and Eze to piss everyone off by scoring. Smiley

Arsenal seem to be a no-go at the moment. I would be actively looking to sell them if I were you guys. At least until Odegaard is back. I, for one, have already replaced Gabriel with Gvardiol.

There is 1 player I like to replace him, not Palmer though. Just need a bit more research, not many people have him at this point in time.

It's gotta be Foden, if not then I don't know who it could possibly be.

Pulled the trigger big time, 4 transfers for me, team restructure for 3 premiums complete. Not exactly totally happy with them but much better fixtures in the future should mean something.
