It is good that I sold Trent for Konate, even if it was for a hit. But I picked the wrong captain between Haaland and Salah. Haaland was actually going to come close but that stupid yellow card ruined his BPS.
Konate looks very essential to the Liverpool defense to me, even more than Van Dijk has been this season. He has made many crucial interceptions that have helped Liverpool maintain their good record. Hopefully he does not return from the international break with an injury.

Let's go Nottingham Forest defense! What do you say we get another clean sheet?
Isak ruined that already. No goals for Woods yet too.

Tottenham about to lose by two goals to Ipswich at home is a headline! This GW has been awful for me; my selections are all underperforming.

Another Liverpool clean sheet, and although I made the better choice of captaining Salah, who had an assist and a goal from this round. I am bitter about TAA's quick removal from the game due to injury. I should have earned good points from him in this GW that started bad for me already.

Cunha scored a screamer!! Waiting for Dalot clean sheet tomorrow..

Liverpool are maintaining a steady performance; they can actually go on to win the league if they continue.

It gave me some kind of orgasm seeing Brighton do the Lord's work against stubborn MCI. Kovacic is trying, but not exactly providing the same solidity that Rodri was providing for the team.

Haaland for me in this case feels like the devil we know from that infamous saying. Haaland despite his goal drought still gets the most shots and chances as per the FPL stats, so it’s matter of time before it translate into goals, and Haaland remains the player you almost can expect to score regardless of the fixture, so I’d keep having him for a while except for a run after which I can bring him back in on a wildcard.

Kept him but Captain Palmer so it Palmer doesn't play tomorrow I still have Halaand's points to fall back on as he's my VC. My win for the week is Kai Havertz to Cunha and Lewis to Dalot in the last minutes.. Cunha scored a screamer!! Waiting for Dalot clean sheet tomorrow..

Haaland stays on my team regardless, his a fine asset to have and not having either him or Salah isn’t a good gamble, I tried it at the start of the season and I’ve had to start from the bottom of the league, not something I’ll love to try again although, am surely gambling on my captain of choice with his now performance. He stays on the pitch, earns me those average or those mind blowing points I don’t mind but, should he look unfit to do the most in a coming game, I’m not testing it except, I’ve got less option in the rest.
Didn’t see him coming up with a goal against Crystal Palace from a home side with his now performance but, it’s a good one still.

At least you did not transfer Haaland out of the game, and I see you still had enough faith in him to keep him as your captain. Haaland already has one goal in this game; he is looking dangerous and likely to score another.
That’ll be a decision I hope I don’t come to regret. I had to remove Haaland from my captaincy option in this GW following his deadlock at goal scoring lately but, he seemed to have broken free in this Brighton game. Giving Manchester City a lead right from the first half, well, it’s just a goal and am sure my captain Chris Wood can equal that. If Haaland manages to get two goals, then I would have reasons to say oh, wow.

Had to make one last minute transfer and it paid off good. I had seconds on the clock with conflicting decisions but, finally settled for Wissa for Raul and Wissa made sure I didn’t regret it. Getting a brace and they’ve got good fixtures going forward.

I was able to arrive at 2 transfer decisions, I have save them before I end up regretting it, I was completely shortsighted and didn't remember we have another international next, I really wouldn't used up those transfer or limit it to just one, since the other player might not be of significant importance over the player I transferred out until the next 2 game weeks, perhaps, cumulatively over 3-5 game weeks.

I regret having Dominic Calvert-Lewin and keeping him on my team.

0:0 draw in Chelsea-Arsenal would be good for me.

I might not be totally against that with Sanchez in goal for my squad.

In theory, this is the GW where I make some difference against the rest of the pool.
This round is what I was having in my sights before we all make big changes again.

Most of my players have easy home fixtures, I'm only worried that I don't have any offensive LFC assets. I think Villa's up for a very difficult game tonight.
Same here, this is the round where I give captain band to a guy that has very low ownership and either gain something or cement my position in mid table mediocrity. Whatever happens it will be at least -4 next week for me and slow grind to better positions.

Even considered tipple captain but decided against that. Would be a bit too much.

0:0 draw in Chelsea-Arsenal would be good for me.

I don't know if anyone here is also playing the fantasy on duelbits other than icopress who is literally on my ass there, it feels good to see another user from the community here starting quite well there as well, it's tough to keep the balance between both squads, as they use another set of pricing and scoring mechanism there but the overall idea remains the same.

My team there looks easy for the changes I'm planning to make this game week, and it's completely different from coming to a conclusion for me on FPL, on there, I'm able to not take chances with Cole Palmer and switched to both Bruno and Isak, while still being able to keep my Haaland, Salah and Solanke, however, on FPL I've made over 20 transfer drafts in the past 2 days, and still nowhere close to being comfortable with the outlook, If I can't arrive at any solution within the next 2-3 hours, then it's autopilot for this week, again.

Halaand is my top priority, I don't know what to do with him.
I will wait until the final hour tomorrow before deciding. I am not sure City will want to lose two games in a row in the Premier League, knowing what that will mean. I also don't think Brighton have the defenders that will be able to torment Haaland every minute of the game.

Hello. I am back. Sold Eze, brought in Smith Rowe. Wanted to get Fulham's Morgan actually, but then they're up against Liverpool so no go there. Prepared to sell Gvardiol (what?!) to bring Saka back in but my budget's all gone. Hanging on to Haaland.

Sure, but in a team with Haaland and 2 of the following 3 (Saka, Palmer, Salah), do you captain Haaland in the upcoming games?
If you plan to, sure, holding on to him might be a good choice.

That was my weekly headache for a while. I got it right half the time. Half the time did not, even without Saka (once I offloaded him when I thought he was injured). Salah has been the right choice more times, but I actually got all the right Haaland times wrong =( Including last week when I forgot to switch.

True, but there is no worse feeling in FPL than having no Haaland and watching City play, especially after he scores first goal in first 10 minutes. I think I will go that route as well but I fully expect to suffer a lot in some weeks but in the long run it should work out.

I think I wouldn't in any of the upcoming rounds, so the obvious choice is to assemble a team without him.

Keep him. The moment you guys sell him for Saka/Palmer/Salah he will just recharge his batteries and sink non-holders to the bottom of the table.

The problem is that you want to focus on Arsenal and Chelsea players now, which you can't properly do if you hold onto Haaland.
Palmer and Saka will outscore Haaland and a 5.5 midfielder across the following 5 games.
Then again, if you can fit Haaland, Palmer and Saka, might make sense. But I know I'm seriously considering going without him and taking a ~6 or 7 mil striker that will probably score some goals and allow me to have a much better team overall.

I just got triple Forest! And sold Trent, who has offered almost nothing for FPL players this season.
Why now? They had great run of fixtures which is over about now. I had Wood from GW1 and I am considering selling him or at least benching him in about half of the matches.

Wood is just to cover my bases. It's the double Forest defense that will be key. They seem to be very good at shutting out the opposing side.

I would not bench Wood if I were you as that will just end up like benching Vardy was for me.

What to do with Haaland is top priority for all of us. There isn't a clear answer and i just know it, points swing will be brutal.

Aston Villa, Southampton, Man city, Newcastle and Fulham doesn't seems like a good run of games to me. I don't see any clean sheet here, although he's not my problem at the moment, he's in for a long term. Halaand is my top priority, I don't know what to do with him.

Forest run of good games might have come to temporary halt, but it doesn't take away how good Wood's been, at least from FPL stand point, Forest would still be have their chances in each of those games, and Wood being on spot kicks makes me still fancy him to say the least, he's price still pretty much is a steal compare to what else is out there, one, perhaps two players within the same price bracket would I consider to have a great run of fixture that's is worth switching to, however their performance as a team is still what I'm wary of.
