cryptofrka is almost guaranteed to be the winner this week.

+19 points off the bench.  Shocked

With Rogers I expected a 50-50 call but I was sure Konsa would be in the team - even though buwaytress argued against it.
I had horrible luck with some picks/goals in the last few rounds, so I feel like little bit of it is bound to come back. This is a nice start Smiley

You gave advantage to Faes instead of Keane, it was a 50-50 that went against you. I felt Everton was less likely to concede today, but you can't really say this was a mistake.

Aaaaand we tune in back today for Gameweek 8.

I'm mostly happy about my returns so far, though I am disappointed that Vardy scored from my bench. However, it is not really important at this point now that half of this pool is deprived of Saka.

I kinda want Arsenal to concede a lot of goals even though I own Gabriel. Smiley

Brenan Johnson was starved today of the ball, and he was not very lucky to be at the right place for any kind of rebound. Son's return made his wing weaker because that was where all the focus went for the team. I felt he was going to keep scoring; I made him my VC; I regret it already.
Why do you care who is your VC? That is the most useless thing in Fantasy. It gets activated maybe once in 5 seasons when popular captain choice gets injured during warm up.

Now that I wrote that, you all know why Haaland will miss the game tomorrow.

Who thinks this GW can be another where Haaland scores another hattrick against the Wolves?
He did seem pissed after Norway played like shit. Not sure if that fires him up for a performance or makes him even worse.
Haaland has a brilliant record against Wolves. They are the first team in the premier league that he scored four goals against in one game, and they are also the team he has scored the most goals against in his career, I reckon he will continue today.

I had to transfers planned for the game week, they were Jackson for Solanke and McNeil or Brenan Johnson for Eberechi Eze, I would have pulled the trigger last night, but I need to be sure who I'm having between McNeil or Johnson, but somehow I missed deadline by about 30 seconds. I hope it doesn't turn to be an awful outing,

Standard return to PL after internationals. Spurs scoring 4 goals with all the points going to footballers that nobody owns. I can already envision another super low scoring GW in the making with just one premium pick killing it.

But at least we have PL back  Grin

I just inadvertently saved myself two transfer and a whole messy round, not as though Jackson and Eze would definitely provide better returns, but then I’d rather have them score equal points with my transfers being banked towards another week.

Quick check-in several hours before the first game. Konsa's listed as 75% chance of playing but he was subbed off early when he got injured and I don't think anyone wants to risk playing a player so soon after a hamstring, so he's the only major change in my line up (here's to hoping that Harwood-Bells does another goal and beats Leicester City).

I think Konsa plays. I will keep him, my other 2 defenders have no way for a clean sheet anyway Grin

I will risk it with Saka too - already rotated my midfield.
There are so many good cheap options currently, I'm considering to change my defense a bit too and than maybe just go -4 in a few rounds if I need that extra transfer.

Other than that, couldn't really be arsed to play around with my team after international break. Salah or Saka captaincy though?

The news I heard about Havertz is that he was going to undergo a late fitness test, but I think he will start as usual. He has had a good time to recover in this international break from the slight injury issue.
Saw a footage of Kai Havertz with the rest of the team arriving at Bounemouth except Saka, that's all I needed. He's available, Saka is not.
Arteta said Saka's injury was not serious, so don't be surprised to see him tomorrow even starting.

Yeah, but given how well City does concede lately even while going for a defender I must keep the attacking prospect in mind tbh, yeah Foden isn't firing on any cylinders but he's minutes seem to be finally increase and it's going to just a matter of time, however his price isn't something you wanna play with when there are other good alternative little matter if it's a tough fixture.

Conceding easily? Yes but Lewis attacking returns has been great this season, one of the best £4.7m DEF out there.

He's probably going to play after all, but I won't risk bringing him in since they've got some tough fixtures already after this week, so there is really no point taking that one game week risk.

I'm really looking to drop at least 2 Liverpool / Chelsea asset, and join to Manchester City bandwagon, they're playing against one of the worse defense in the league, I just don't if Foden is an already locked starter for Guardiola, or I should buy in to the team through their defenders, just that you're never sure of anything when it comes to that bald Spaniard being in charge.

Anyone have any updates on Kai Havertz's injury? Rruchi Man, you are an Arsenal supporter; please provide us with some concrete information concerning Kai's condition. Is he training with the main team or still in recovery? I only have 1FT and must choose between taking out Kudus or Kai for Johnson.

If you're looking to buy Citeh assets, avoid wingers and midfielders because there are too many rotations in this position right now, Grealish is back, and Foden is still finding playing time. If you have a good amount to cover, choose Gvardiol or Lewis to save money.

As for Arsenal's if the player is listed as questionable by this time you best believe they'll likely play depending on the level of importance of the match, but Arteta isn't going to give you anything concrete before the deadline.

“He had a few issues and we have been dealing with that. He has been absolutely brilliant. He has very good communication with the national team, with the manager. In the end, they understood the situation. We modified everything we could do here and again, if he trains well today he has a good chance to be fit and available.” – Mikel Arteta on Kai Havertz

“It is not a serious injury. He is evolving really well. He has done a few things in the last two days. Obviously he wasn’t fit enough to play with the national team in the second game but yeah, we are hopeful.” – Mikel Arteta on Bukayo Saka

I am really close to using at least one more on my defence and maybe even replace Saka. Don't want to waste them all though.
An update on Saka would do nicely.

I did an early transfer just before the international break kicked in, used all my free transfer options and now am left with taking a 4point deduction if I’m to let loose of Saka. Not a choice am likely going to take still and the injury doesn’t seem serious I guess.
I hope he gets to play though, my bench isn’t looking good for a replacement. Could suck it up for a game though.

You know Arteta has learnt to be as cunning as Pep is, hoarding specific injury updates. We were fooled once already this season when we thought Raya was not going to play against Leicester; we heard he was not seen arriving with the team, but he ended up playing.

Well later in the day im gonna talk with my team, i was talking with Saka and he said to me he is gonna play.  Grin
Saka will play. With the injury scare to Martinelli, Saka must be an option in our attack, or else we will be completely disjointed at that end.

Injury may be Arsenal's biggest problem this season.

I find the team in very good condition i was expecting to see a lot of yellows and red signs above the players but not, most of them are ready to play.

Made 2 changes to my midfield already, I picked players I think not many will go with. Let's risk a bit, why not.
